Boutique comfort and amenities in the heart of the Emerald City
The Paramount Hotel, a member of the Coast Hotel chain, is located in the center of downtown Seattle. The boutique hotel, which has 146 rooms, is walking distance from Pike Place Market, Space Needle and the Seattle Art Museum, and only a block from the Washington Convention and Trade Center. Shoppers can stroll to either Westlake Center or Pacific Place malls. All rooms are smoke-free, and all include amenities such as separate work areas and flat-screen TVs with Nintendo. Guests also enjoy Seattle Pan-Asian cuisine at the in-house restaurant.Highlights
- Convenient location in downtown Seattle
- Walking distance to shopping and tourist attractions
- Multilingual staff (French, Spanish, Tagalog, Korean)

Rooms
Rich, soothing tones of red and brown decorate guest rooms and suites, all of which are smoke-free. All rooms include 37-inch flat-screen televisions with Nintendo, coffee-makers, robes, a separate work area, and a clock radio with MP3 capabilities. Bathrooms feature private-label toiletries. Grand suites, on the top floor, offer fireplaces, soaking tubs, a separate conference room, and, upon request, a connecting room with two queen beds.
Features
The Paramount Hotel Seattle's lobby features a gas fireplace, a welcome touch for visitors returning from a long day of sightseeing or shopping. The crackling fire is homey on rainy, misty Seattle days. The multilingual staff offers the personal touches of a smaller hotel along with the services of a larger property. The hotel houses Dragonfish Asian Cafe, which serves Seattle's famed Pan-Asian cuisine. More restaurants, including an outpost of Il Fornaio, the Italian chain, are a short walk away.

The location couldn't be better.
I would absolutely stay at the Paramount again. It's right next to the lightrail, so you don't need to rent a car. Shopping is literally just outside the door -- just turn right out of the Pine entrance and you'll bump right into Nordstrom. If you keep walking straight past the shopping, you'll hit Pike's Place, the art museum, the aquarium, etc., not even a mile away. This hotel was a great find!

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you're flying in from SEA, take the lightrail to the very last stop, and the hotel is about a block away. The best part is that it only costs $2.75 versus the $40 I spent on a cab in before I knew about it.

Exceeded All Expectations!
Staff was extremely friendly, accommodations were lovely, the location very convenient to all of downtown Seattle, the Dragonfish Asian Cafe had great sushi and impressive happy hour prices, and we loved the bonuses like parking and internet for no extra charge. We were given a great corner room with a nice view. For the price, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Almost perfect
The room is roomy, clean, and the bed and pillows are comfortable. It was clean and organized. The location is great, 10minutes walk from the Pike Place Market, surrounded by all the department stores. Everything was great other than the internet. I was at 11th floor and the wifi connection was horrible!

Great place to stay
My wife and I just spent 4 nights here. Everything was great. We walked to most places we ate at and visited, and the airport and Seattle Center were just train rides away. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was one of the best in any hotel I've been in. Staff was helpful when we asked for something, but generally stayed out of the way. Even the restaurant was top notch for any meal, and reasonably priced. Couldn't ask for much more! If and when we make it back to Seattle, we'll look here first.

The wonderful location surprised us. The hotel has a very soothing presence with the simple beauty of the decor. The restaurant was very good. Don't miss the happy hour. We were close to everything and never used our car for 4 days.

Great Location
Was at a convention and the location was perfect. Didn't even need an umbrella to get to the convention center. Pleanty of great restaurants close. Walking distance to tourist attractions. Room was comfortable, although you can hear street noise if the fan is off. OK fitness room. Friendly staff

Great downtown location
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. As an east coaster, I'm not used to this level of friendliness. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend.
