VALUE FOR 4 STARS

We quite enjoyed our stay, having 2 rooms to compare. Staff were great, some good restos in the area. 15 minute walk to the water - but that was just fine with us.

Panned our fairly well

Stayed here with familly and kids loved the spacious and modern room. Only my wife didn't care for the sliding doors by the bed and bathroom because they didn't have locks and our kids could open them. Watch out for the automated minibar as it adds to your room charge if you move an item.

Good Value

Good value hotel, 6 blocks from main shopping area and 10 from Pikes Pier. Not a full service hotel, also a weird layout. Would stay again but only if I got a great price, otherwise would choose a real full service hotel more central. Valet staff here are a real strong point - they are great.

great stay

We had a great stay. We were nicely greeted by the valet as well as the front desk. Rooms were nice and cozy. Only improvements I would make would be a more comfortable sitting chair that was by the bed, and the floor in the bathroom was extremely slippery without shoes or socks.

Staff was awesome and everything was very clean. Not 100% perfect for families though.

I will preface this review by saying that I would absolutely stay at this hotel again, with my family of 4. A concern that we had about the hotel: the bathroom has an open "window" (there's no glass) that looks out into the living area. If you don't close the privacy screen, then anyone in the living area (including your kids!) will have a full view into the bathroom. When closed, the screen doesn't lock and doesn't really buffer any bathroom noise. Other things (good and bad) to consider: - valet parking is $39/day - there is a great grocery store (Whole Foods) under the hotel that has a buffet ... our kids loved the food. - very small refrigerator in the room (it's the minibar, which you can ask to be emptied). - no microwave, but available upon request - not really walking distance to attractions, but comfortably close if you have a car. - all of the staff is absolutely marvelous - also at the base of the hotel is a Starbucks and a great pizzeria ... both of which are super kid-friendly.

Very Nice!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room. Skip the expensive room service breakfast and go downstairs to whole foods. The market cafe makes a delicious made to order, HOT breakfast for practically nothing!

Tutta Bella is pretty good but not kid friendly. If you are travelling with kids, I would order takeout.

Modern, Clean, Centrally Located

Central Location - easy access to all the attractions in Downtown Seattle. Whole Foods Store right underneath + a two great restaurants on the same property. Rooms were clean, uncluttered and minimalist. Very comfortable. Beds and TVs were great.

Very Beautiful and High-End Rooms.

I live in Seattle and we stayed in this hotel as we were getting ready to move to a new city. The rooms here were truly first rate. Bose sound system, amazing bath room fixtures, DVD player, luxurious sheets. I spend 200 nights a year at hotels and this was among the best. Location is great if you want to be a litte away from downtown and the main tourist area. Its only a 10 minute walk there or a quick street car ride but I like staying here b/c you are close to some great restaurants (SeaStar and Tutta Bella) right in the hotel building are standouts. I would definitely stay here again whether on business or pleasure. Ronnie

SeaStar is one of best seafood places in Seattle and TuttaBella is a great neopalitan pizze place. Both are in the same complex as the hotel.
