great hotel

The Pan Pacific was a great hotel. We had a great room on the upper flow, viewing the lake. We arrived very early, and when we got there our room was not ready, which we weren't expecting since it was barely 10 am, but they gave us a map, some suggestions, and said they would call us when our room was ready, which they did. Great hotel, beautiful rooms. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are terrible, they are like thin little sheets. i much prefer terry robes.

Amazing Staff

Pan Pacific Seattle was a great experience. EVERY single person (valet, front desk, bell, restaurant) always had a smile, hello & how can I (we) help you? Were very helpful about getting around Seattle & to airport. We have status in other hotel programs and I don't believe any were nicer than the people of Pan Pacific. Will definitely return when in Seattle.

Great staff !!

The hotel door staff was excellent and very helpful with information on where to go and how to get there. Loved the sheets and comforter, top notch. Excellent products in the bathroom. Really nice bathroom, luxurious tub that looks out into bedroom if you want or you can close the sliding half door for privacy, very japanese. Excellent hotel just a bit too far too walk to downtown but close to Space Needle.

GREAT HOTEL

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in 2008, and I am on the road at least a couple of times a month. The hotel doesnt have much of a menu, but there are numerous places to eat well within walking distance. For the money this was easily the best value I have ever had!

Clean, new, friendly and convenient

The Pan Pacific Seattle is well located to take advantage of downtown Seattle's many attractions. While its restaurant services are somewhat limited, it's shared location with Starbuck's and Whole Foods offers convenient choices on site. Fine dining is near either by walking or riding the light rail adjacent to the Hotel. The rooms were well equiped, spacious and clean. The staff uniformly was friendly. The only negative was lack of readily available information for the tourists. The Pan Pacific is a very good value.

Nordstrom's flagshift store and Macy's are but a few of the stores close by. For a longer walk one can shop at Pike Street Market.

Great Staff & Location

From the time we entered this hotel, the staff was friendly, courteous & always willing to offer assistance! The room was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was a very nice size. I loved that there was a sliding door between the bathroom and the bed area. It made for a lot of sunshine in the whole room. The television was out of this world for a hotel. We had everything we could need in this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Seattle area. There was a market right below the hotel that offered buffet style choices of meals and they were also outstanding.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

We were a short walk from just about anything you wanted to do or see in Seattle. We walked to the Pan Pacific shopping center several times. There were also other forms of transportation available nearby to get you to the other sites you might want to visit further away.

A Nice New Experience

This is our first visit to this hotel. While we found it a little farther from the core downtown than we expected, it was a really nice experience and I would expect to use the hotel again. The proximity to Whole Foods was a particularly nice surprise. We found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Every attempt was made to make our visit a pleasant experience. We didn't use the resturants but visited them and plan to try them on our next visit. The room was a little smaller than we would have liked but all the necessities were there and it was quite comfortable. There were even three levels of firmness for the pillows. That was a very nice touch. There was no turndown service or morning paper but the night was well worth the price we paid.

Spectacular Service

We arrived in Seattle late on a Tuesday night to find out that our hotel room's air conditioning was not working properly. Instead of shoving us in that room, they paid for a one night stay at The Fairmont, which was a lovely hotel down the street. They also paid for our room service bill and picked up the tab for the one night we were supposed to stay at the Pan-Pacific. We came back to the Pan-Pacific the following night and were upgraded to a Needle view suite and provided champagne and chocolates. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the staff and service provided!
