Seattle Mediterranean Inn

Lobby looked nice and elegant. Offered bikes for guests to use - an amazing plus. Several Internet terminals in the lobby. Accessible by public transportation from airport for under $10! Near restaurants and very walkable to downtown Seattle. Walking through Belltown was a very wonderful experience. Room was small but comfortable and clean.

Like coming home

Very close to the bus stop, lots of different eating experiences, the Space Needle and Key Center. If you are in town for a concert at Key Center, this would be the place, a very easy walk. Starbucks in the lobby, opens at 5:30 am. Clean, convenient and a cool looking building. Ask for a room at the back, that comes with the view. The only thing I wished for was a hot tub, for sore muscles after a lot of walking

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

The 15 and 18 bus can take you all the way from Ballard to Public Market and Pioneer Square, and it stops less than a block away. Get a schedule

great location

great location and the view from the roof-top balcony is fantastic...able to see many fantastic sights of the seattle area....mount raniier, olympia mts., space needle, and a wonderful view of elliot bay and the many cruise ships coming and going...unfortunately, the non-smoking rule is a bit strict... otherwise, a most enjoyable stay and a very accommodating staff...friendly and helpful...

Decent hotel, FANTASTIC neighborhood/sur

The hotel room itself was pretty average: nothing wrong with it, nothing great about it. Plenty of hot water, but as another reviewer noted, not the best towels. I LOVED the neighborhood I was in: plenty of locals around going about, just doing their daily business, drinking in their bars and eating at their restaurants and reading in the coffee shops. Also a very short 15 min walk to the Space Needle and the monorail which will take you most of the way to Pike Place market. I stayed at this hotel without a car and did just fine for two days, with an occasional 10 buck cab ride.

Very Happy

Walked to the space needle for the New Year's Eve fireworks display. After upgrading to a higher floor we had a city view instead of no view.

No view, smelled like bleach

Though very centrally located, our room had no view and the sheets were so bleached that I had to place a t-shirt over the pillow to be able to sleep. My favorite part of the hotel was the somewhat odd and spooky underground garage.
