Comfort & Great Location

It's a very nice hotel. I usually stay at hostels, so this was quite a change. It's located in downtown Seattle, just a 3 minute walk to Pike Place Market. About a 15-20 minute walk to Seattle Center, where the EMP and Space Needle are located. The room itself was quite nice. I wish I had a fridge and microwave, but I didn't pay for a suite. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice as well. The bar, Oliver's, is pretty classy and they make a strong martini :D Overall, a nice stay!

Great weekend escape

Hotel was excellent! Great location - surrounded by shopping, easy walk to Pikes Place Market. Friendly front desk staff. Cool and historic - appeared to be recently updated, room was nice and bed was comfortable. Even the restaurant (Andaluca) was good - had dinner there one night. Only complaint is that the concierge kept weird hours - never there when we wanted to ask a question or get advice.

Great location, nice restored hoted

Staff was professional, very nice.Beautiful lobby. Check-in easy. Location is great, across street from train, next to monorail station, and easy walk to Pike Place Mkt. We had standard queen rm. Was nicely appointed. Not overly spacious, but plenty of room for the two of us.

Traditional hotel

Very nice, clean hotel. Everything about it feels like it is out of my grandfather's home - the lamps, the room decor. Definitely targeted at the 50+ year old traveler. Good value for the price though.

Friendly staff, very clean

We were greeted by the valet parking guys and they were very friendly and helpful. Upon letting them know we would be leaving by 7am the next morning, they suggested that we park the car in the open spot across the street to save on the $35 valet fee. The receptionist was very kind and friendly as well. It was a short stay, but I have no complaints. The room was basic, but clean.

Great location. . . close to Pikes Market and public transportation

Great hotel!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish weather could have been better but was told that gray skies and rain is typical of Seattle.

Great location !

Great location, close to all the main attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Olivers Lounge nice happy hour with free hor d' oeuvres. There is lots of restaurants and major dept. stores/shopping all around. The monorail is connected to the hotel to take you to the Space Needle ect. The only down side is your can hear traffic noise and walls thin can sometimes hear people in next rooms.
