Great time to reconnect
Enjoyed the room, the bed/pillows, the amenities, kitchen, the restaurant and the location. The only thing I would add to make it a 5 star would be a business center of some kind to read emails and the like vice having to take a laptop with you. Everyone was great! Sharon K. Zauner Kailua, Hawaii

Great Place!!
Highly recommend if you like a place with some historical charm. Very clean and super nice staff. Rooms use to be apartments so they come with kitchens and are huge! (at least the one we stayed in which had a king bed, separate sitting area room, and separate dining/kitchen and hardwood floors) Very cozy and homey feeling! Loved it! I gave it four stars for amenities and overall though because the bathroom shower could use some upgrading and the water pressure was low but it was all kind of expected from an older place.

would stay there again for sure
I loved the large room that felt like a cozy apartment - only complaints were the balky coffeepot and that I apparently didn't get thru to the maid to NOT clean every day - next time I'll tell the desk. location was fine as I didn't mind walking several blocks to the monorail - that walk might be too long for some. there's a fabulous grocery store open all night and with everything just a block away!

Walking Distance to Local Sites
Excellent staff and customer service. Didn't realize that only street parking available. Valet service was very good but had to pay daily rate. Ideal location to walk to local sites and amazing restaurants within a block radius. Ambience of older hotel was lovely. Spacious rooms.

Toulouse Restaurant across the street was amazing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Weekday breakfast specials are a great deal. Tin Lizzie Lounge in the hotel lobby had just opened and is a cozy and comfortable spot for a drink and food in the evening.

Great stay!
This was our first visit to the Marqueen. Everything was great. We will definitely stay again when we get back to Seattle. The room had a kitchenette so we took advantage of an excellent market just a block away. Just a few blocks from Seattle Center. Convenient bus stop right around the block or easy walking to the downtown area. Great variety of restaurants across the street and within two or three blocks. The desk staff and all of the doormen were very friendly and helpful.
