The MarQueen was a great place to stay. Close to our son, Seattle Center, many restaurants, downtown, and transportation. The staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Great location for opera, etc, visit

Would recommend Sat, Oct 24, 2015
A wonderful location for those attending Seattle Opera performances, Repertory theater, and going to the Seattle Center. PLEASE ADVISE PROSPECTIVE GUEST THAT THERE IS NO ELEVATOR.

Great place to stay

Would recommend Sat, Aug 1, 2015
The MarQueen hotel is an ideally located, stunningly beautiful, historic hotel nestled in historic Queen Anne and near Seattle Center. It is literally a couple of blocks from Seattle Center and the Space Needle, EMP Museum, etc, and a short cab ride from the waterfront and Pike's Place Market. The rooms are reasonably priced, incredibly spacious (think apartment sized), and impeccably clean. The front desk and Tin Lizzy staff are exceptionally helpful and great to talk to. If you're looking for a perfectly located, reasonably priced, high-end place to stay, this gem is your answer.

Great Weekend Trip

Would recommend Tue, Jul 21, 2015
My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and we even had a kitchen included with our room! I was a little hesitant to book after reading some of the other reviews but I can only say good things about our experience. It's a good distance to the pier (if you like walking a bit) and has nice restaurants near by.

Couple Getaway

Would recommend Sun, Jul 19, 2015
Good location, used Uber to travel around city, but also able to walk to a lot of places. I wish the bed was softer. The continental breakfast - bagel with jam and yogurt parfait was good. You could purchase something else. Staff was very attentive. A pool would have been nice.

Disappointing

Would not recommend Thu, Jul 9, 2015
I really wanted to like the MarQueen more than I did. The first thing that surprised me was the lack of an elevator. Walking up 3 floors was not the end of the world, but really a hotel should have an elevator. Room was large and clean, but everything was apparently done as cheaply as possible. Way outdated bath and plumbing, no more than adequate bed. This place has tons of potential but needs a major capital investment!

Room in need of renovation and breakfast is a joke

Would not recommend Fri, Jun 19, 2015
A group of 3 friends, we shared a room at the Marqueen besides the location, very close to Space Needle there is very little positive to be said about this hotel. Our room was smelly and in need of renovation. Bathroom was OK in terms of cleaness but the suite pieces were cracked and shower very weack. But the worst of all was breakfast: on our first day we were welcomed at the bar ( not a proper dining room ) by a very unwelcoming member of the staff who just told us to sit down, without explaining what was going to happen. We sat at the only proper table in the bar, the other being low tables very unpractical for breakfast, and 5 min later he came back asking wether we wanted tea or coffee. As one of us dared to ask for orange juice he bluntely replied that there was a charge for it. Fine, we accepted and waited for a menu to possibly order our food. No way, tighter with our drinks we got a plate containing: a tosted bagel, butter, jam ( one portion of each) and a small pot of thick yogurt garnished with little berries and granola! No need to say, breakfast was exactly the same the next day, served with the same cold mannerism and only enjoied at one of those uncomfortable low tables.. However, another guest did get a say in what he wanted to eat in somehow as we saw him receiving a cooked breakfast, paid for obviously. We would have liked to have the option but a menu was not available nor was ever offered to us and we didn't feel like asking after the chilled reaction to the request for an orange juice. All in all, give Marqueen and their ackward breakfast policy a miss !

Really comfortable and cozy

Would recommend Mon, Apr 6, 2015
I like the staying so much. Everything is so good, the location, the room service, the stuff there, except Wifi. I can barely connect it. The location is great. We walk to Kerry Park within 10 mins and space neddle is only few blocks away. The transportation is convenient too. Definitely will go there again.
