Quiant but ain't goin' back
Great old hotel but needs some basic upgrades like an electrical outlet in the bathroom! Parking is pretty ugly too. Be prepared to park on the street and feed the meters or park in "thier" lot a block away.

Inn at Queen Anne
The rooms have a small well apportioned kitchen but no coffee maker and no hair dryer. My room had no air conditioning and was very hot. The hallways were very stuffy. Both the hallways and room had a strong smell perhaps of recent paint and my clothes smelled of it. The staff was friendly. It is close to lots of restaurants and other activities. I would not stay there again.

When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. It took 20 min to see what was going on. Though they were very friendly and gave us an upgrade to a better room. Rooms were old and kind of smelly. The location was really nice.

Not Sleepless in Seattle
Ok enough
Although it was a few minutes to Pikes Place Market, they no longer had complimentary shuttle service as stated in the description and brochure! That was a main reason for choosing this hotel. We found out when we checked in. We ended up having to take taxis everywhere which was a pretty good sized added expense. Only there for 2 days so we did not have time to learn the bus routes. Nor was any help to avoid the taxi expenses given. Overall, the place was clean, but very old. Felt it was roomy enough. Perfect for people staying longer than a few days as it had a kitchenette and large closet. Diner that serves burgers till 2am is literally next door. If you're not looking for modern style rooms, but just need a clean place to stay, this was enough. Also, they were able to let us check in before noon because the room was available! Huge plus coming off the ship early in the day!

Inn at Queen Anne
The advertised continental breakfast was a JOKE!! It was coffee, only regular sugar, small packet of "Go Oatmeal Bar",apple & orange. Picture showed donuts & muffins. No donuts or muffins! No internet service.Personnel not able to direct us to a company who offers internet service. Added a $60 charge for possible extra charges added What kind of charges was available. There were no ammenities available to charge! I have stayed in inexpensive hotels, who offered internet service and had great continental breakfasts.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
North of Queen Anne to intersection and left is an Irish restaurant, a Fondue restuarant. To the right is a grocery store and drug store. South of hotel,to the right one block is a fast food (Dicks) and a Starbucks on corner.

Rather noisy
Staid for 3 nights, fortunately with jet lag, so that we could sleep despite the noise from the road. Bed sheets not very clean, bathroom clean but needs renovation. Nice: one can borrow hairdryers at the reception. All in all, the hotel should either be cheaper or offer better rooms.

Great Location, Dated and Rundown Hotel
The hotel is in an awesome location. Take the number 2 bus to get from the Westlake terminal after you get of the Link Lightrail from SEATAC airport. Other than the location, the hotel is sub-par. The paint was peeling off the walls, the bathroom fixtures were loose, the heating was dated (though the window unit air conditioner appeared to work, if you travel in the Summer). The front desk staff do what is required, but seem more annoyed than pleased with customers. A close walk to the Space Needle and Seattle Central. Somewhat close to the Pike Place Market if you enjoy a walk along the waterfront.

Meets my expectation
This is a two-star hotel and I got what I expected. No real perks other than it was across from the Seattle Center. It's hard to see where exactly the hotel is; I drove past it twice. Mostly street parking and that is challenging and risky.

Interesting Place to Stay
The hotel has that old time feel to it. With that being said they need to update the rooms the showers are for shorter than avergae people and parts of the bathroom were in need of repair. It was great that it had its own little kitchen and fridge. Parking was limited to 11 spaces and cost $15/day it was located near some great places though. I would recommend it if you are on a budget and you dont mind walking to see attractions as seattle gets spendy on parking.

cranky staff
when i arrived, i was helped promptly by Sarah but shes lacking in friendliness for a tired traveler. at checkout, a lady named Alexandra was very cranky, rude, and lacked sensitivity. in addition, this inn, is also a part of another hotel. i saw both employees at these locations, and again, they were not very nice! the inn at queen anne needs upgrades on their tv's! they are at least 20 years old, and the mattresses need to be changed, they were very uncomfortable. the location though was perfect!

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
take a taxi to pikes place! its only a few mins from the hotel, and lots of restaurants and fresh seafood! the space needle is walking distance from the hotel. parking is non-existent, and the area is bit crowed. shopping is a plus with the original Nordstrom Rack downtown.
