Seattle Trip

The hotel is old which I knew and expected so was not surprised on no elevator and items lie that but if you like old buildings then this is the place.

Old style inn close to space needle & sites

Old school here. Like staying in your favorite Aunt's house. Basic, well maintained, a little frayed but a great option. Kitchen was complete. laundry machines downstairs. Location is great - near Needle, parks & museums, but also convenient for shopping and restaurants. One note - rooms don't have great locks and there is no room safe.

Great time as expected.

This was our second stay at The Inn at Queen Anne. We love it there, while the wifi reception wasn't great, the location and kitchenette is really what we were there for. We also love the old style of this hotel.

Old fashioned hotel.

Nothing fancy, but great location for access to public transportation and events. Staff members were all very helpful. Bathtub faucet had a serious leak, but did not spend enough time in the room for that to be bothersome.

Old (1930's) clean, superconvenient to Seattle Center

Old, bad wifi, no elevators, good staff, very very convenient to Seattle Center, reasonable price. Met my needs, good neighborhood, excellent local transit, on the doorstep of the Space Needle and the many arts venues at Seattle Center, and NW Folklife festival.

Seattle, NW Folklife, OK but old

Wanted a place in Queen Anne, Seattle for 3 days (including one Friday of NW Folklife festival). The Mediterranean nearby where I have stayed before was sold out. Inn @ Queen Anne is an older (maybe 1920's) property with minimal upgrades -- 2 wings - no elevators - I got a room on floor 3 (the uppermost) with a view of the Space Needle. Staff - helpful and competent - zero problems. Worry a bit about no sprinkler system. Also few electrical outlets . Wifi very slow evenings. Cleanliness -- super. Hot water, not too slow. Location -- super good. Right on the NW edge of Seattle Center. And on the very frequent local transit including the D superfast bus service. Main downtown is walkable if you can walk a mile (maybe two) For longer-term -- there's a cook-stove with a saucepan and skillet, and plates, glasses, and utensils for four. Safe neighborhood with good feeding places and much cheaper than downtown near the waterfront. Old, but OK -- good neighborhood, fairly quiet.

Miserably unsatisfying

I had booked this hotel because it came with a kitchen. I had a surgery and mother was in town, so booked this to be able to stay in there for a few days. Thank GOODNESS that I ended up being in good shape because it was a miserable experience. The rooms were not very clean. They were dark. The water in the shower was continuously running, despite asking the front desk to get it fixed. I wanted to cancel after the first night in the hotel, but unfortunately I didn't realize that I had agreed to an agreement where I couldn't cancel the last two days of my stay. Really unfortunate, and some of the worst money I've spent.

It's all about location

The room was small and pricy. Staff took forever to bring towels. Wifi signal was unreliable.

Seattle Sights

The Queen Anne is a very old hotel but it has modern kitchnette appliances to make it livable. The tub is sized for 5 feet and smaller people expect to use only the shower. The charm is in the location and the quaint look of the hotel. You will have no problem with public transit or finding quiet if you want that. Great restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance.
