Queen of art rooms sport a queen bed and artist king has king-size beds. Soothing tones of sage, charcoal gray and vegetal oranges decorate each room. All rooms have high thread-count linens and duvets, robes, coffee makers with Organa coffee and Steven Smith tea, Aveda bath amenities, a menu of pillow choices and a menu of spiritual inspiration suitable for almost any belief system.

Features

An art-filled lobby, guest rooms and hallways underscore the Hotel Max's dedication to art and Seattle-area artists and photographers. If the point is to create a serene environment, the Hotel Max follows up admirably with rooms done in calming hues. In-room tea accompanies in-room coffee and a spiritual menu promises inspiration for almost any faith or belief system. Great business amenities

Very interesting decor. The room doors are papered w/photography from local artists and each room has original art comissioned from local artists. The room was set with wireless network availability and there was a good sized flat screen TV. A coffee pot and coffee was in each room and the local paper was delivered to each room every morning. The bed was covered with a down comforter and they had a pillow menu from which you could chose the type pillow best fit your personal habits. They boasted a second floor business center. The desk staff was knowledgable in what to do and were very courteous. The location was great, close to downtown, shopping and dinning all within easy walking distance. They had both smoking and non-smoking rooms available. I found my new Seattle Hotel!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

You're just a few minute walk from the main downtown shopping which includes, but was not limited to Nordstrom's, Macy's, and Tiffany's. The main downtown plaza was also nearby and of course all kinds of restaurants dotted the area! You could shop until you dropped, then have a relaxing meal and back to shopping!

a gem in the city~

The location was within walking distance of downtown, the public market, shopping, museums, light rail, theaters, and restaurants. If travelling alone, queen bed makes room a bit small. Ask for Double as an alternative.

Great service from staff

This hotel had very small rooms, but the staff was very efficient and helpful. Best for business people and not for vacationers.

Excellent Hotel and Staff

I enjoyed my stay this past weeked at The Hotel Max. The only shocker was the 33 dollar amount to park a car in their garage over night. I would have thought that is a benefit of staying there. But it is downtown, so parking is at a premium, so maybe I can understand...but 33 is still steep. Overall, very happy with my room and the staff.

Loved it!

We were in for the night, between flights, and wanted to enjoy a bit of Seattle while we were there. The Max hotel made it easy to park, check in and out, and have a fun night in a hotel. Love the pillow selection and Aveda amenities.

Beautiful Beds and Pillows

My focus on choosing a hotel this time was a very comfortable bed and pillow! I have back and neck problems and DREAD sleeping in hotels. So... I tried to find a place that had great bed and pillow ratinds. Hotel Max accomplished that with a great bed that I found sooooo comfortable and a pillow menu! Everything including the room service was wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Excellent Stay

We stayed at Hotel Max for part of our honeymoon trip. The room was great (not much of a view since we were in the back). The location was perfect, right in the heart of downtown.

Great Hotel!

The room was small, but comfortable and well-equipped for someone who's not planning on hanging out in the room. The tv remote was a little funky, but the wifi was strong. All in all, I'd still say a great deal for someone who's got business in Seattle, or enough things to do to not rely on the room for more than sleeping and lying in bed watching tv.
