One night in the city

We booked this hotel because we were going to concert across the street at the Neptune. I had to face facts and realize I'm just too old and tired to party and then drive an hour back home. Makes for a perfect one-night getaway!

Family Trip

The staff was by the most accomodating we have ever dealt with. Never was anything difficult, cannot be done, or we do not do that. It was always, anyway we can help. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and well appointed. As mentioned by others, the walls are a bit thin but this did not cause an issue. Cannot say about the food as we did not eat there but the lounge area is very accomodating. Overall, excellent place to stay in a beautiful city.

good value

Great staff and comfortable bed. No pools or amenities around. No mini fridge in the room was a big con. $20/day parking is a huge rip off. I live on Maui and not even the 5 star resorts charge that much. Room was spacious about 10 min drive from downtown.

Hotel Deca A Noble

The staff was very friendly and helpful however I could have gotten something much nicer for the same price. Not as nice as the pictures in real life. You also have to pay 20 bucks for parking overnight. All in all not worth the money. If it was more like 90 dollars a night it would be just right. The king sized bed was probably the best thing about the stay.

Visit to the University of Washington

We were very comfortable at the Hotel Deca, located in the U District near the University of Washington. The hotel is loaded with vintage charm, but so beautifully updated and furnished, we felt like we were staying in a modern luxury hotel. Our "junior suite" was enormous, the beds very comfortable, and service was excellent. Areas for improvement would be the slightly unpredictable elevator, the bath toiletries that could not be pumped from the dispensers in the shower, and the lack of free coffee in the lobby in the morning. But these were minor issues compared to all the comfort and convenience we enjoyed. I look forward to staying at Hotel Deca on future visits to Seattle!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Portage Bay restaurant on nearby Roosevelt Ave has the best breakfast in the U District (IMHO). The berry bar is scrumptious!
