The location is very good for a short stay close to several attractions. The area is very busy. I would suggest getting away from downtown for a longer stay, or split the visit between 2 locations. If you are going to Victoria island plan to stay one night in Victoria.

A Week in Seattle

Overall the experience was good. The location is very close to several attractions. We were a few blocks(walking distance) ... from the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, Science Fiction Museum,Pacific Science Center, and the Monorail, which can take you to a major shopping area. Parking is not easy, and is limited(costs $10 per night). The front of the Facility is off of 99, which is also Aurora. The facility is immediately to your right,after you exit a tunnel, heading north. It is easily missed for a new traveller to the area. The breakfast was Fair. The eggs were from a carton and had little flavor. The rooms were very small.

Met-up with colleagues in the room next door, Slept, ironed shirts. My roommate likes the room super cold. and extra ... comforter for the bed would have been nice. Room was comparable to my previous trip, but cheaper.

We did have 3 towels for 2 girls, we needed 4 so called the desk, and 2 more came right up.....but when they cleaned the ... room, the left us with 3 towels again. The staff was great, service was fast & breakfast was a nice treat!

Downtown in Ten Minutes

The reason I chose this hotel was the price in comparison to its location close to downtown, and it did deliver on both ... accounts. Check-in was easy, the room was very comfortably laid out, the shower was DIVINE and the complimentary breakfast was well-stocked and delicious. However... I was not aware that overnight parking was $10 per day. That might've changed my mind about my pick. I also was charged twice for parking for the same day, and it was only by a whim that I had asked for a receipt for my parking payment, or else I would have had to pay the double-billing! Also, when the room was made up, while I did get fresh towels, etc, I could tell nothing had been cleaned, and the garbage was not emptied. It didn't bother me that much, but someone else might find that to be a problem. All in all, it met my needs well, but make sure you get receipts for things!

Prepay for your parking and get a receipt. It'll guarantee you a slot in the underground parking garage, which is very helpful in rainy Seattle.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us know about an amazing restaurant very close by to try..The 5 Point ... Place. They also offered shuttle service for the Seahawks game for only $5. This is a great place to stay and is within minutes from the Space Needle.

The bath-tub plug was not working - I had 2 kids with me (ages 1 and 7) that are not fond of taking showers. When I reported ... the problem help came right away but the gentleman was unable to fix it. From here there was a serious lack of communication. I checked the tub the next day still not working, I talked to the front desk they said they would look into it. Could not move us to a different room due to being full which is understandable. So it was offered that our parking would be paid for - then we received a bill for the parking. I had to turn it in to the front desk - to a very uninterested clerk. I felt like I had to do too much work here and still did not get our problem addressed!

It is spacious, clean, and very much affordable. We flew to Seattle to see its famous attractions and we were able to ... accomplish it by rooming in this hotel at a reasonable price. Visiting a place wont be a success to me unless you familiarize yourself with the location and we did it by walking around until we need to rest and be back to the hotel.

We went to take an Argosy Cruise tour (1 hour ride)and noticed something called a city pass. The city pass was well worth the money as long as you get it at the beginning of the trip. It's 6 tickets for 1person to 7 of the main attractions including the space needle (2 trips one for day and one at night within 24 hours) we bought two books for $100 and saved about $60.
