Great service, great Location

Hotel is within easy walking distance of the link light rail from the airport. Just get off on the last stop downtown and it is an inexpensive way to go from the airport to the hotel. Short walk to Pike St Mkt. Short walk to monorail to Space Needle. Our room had a nice view of the Space Needle. Lots of other first class shops and places to eat within a very short distance. Great downtown atmosphere. Concierge was very helpful. Took a gourmet tour of Seattle and we had a blast. I would do the tour early in your stay so you get some good ideas of where to dine. We would come back to stay without a doubt.

Anniversary trip

The hotel is located in the perfect location in Seattle--within walking distance to almost everything there is to see and do in Seattle: Pike Place Market, Seattle Aquarium, Monorail to the Space Needle/Pacific Science Center/Science Fiction Museum, and literally across the street from great restaurants and shopping. We stayed in a corner suite--perfect for hubby and me since he stays up late and I go to bed early--the semi-separate sitting area (desk, couch, flat screen tv) was his private sanctuary while I slept or watched my own tv shows on the flat screen in the bedroom. Large closets and bathroom rounded out the well appointed room.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Ride the Seattle Metro (bus) for free from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily throughout downtown--walk up to Pike & 3rd Ave or Pine & 3rd Ave to catch the major routes (you can plan your bus route online with King County Transit or just look at the bus routes posted at the bus stops). Von's restaurant/bar is across the street from the Grand Hyatt--we found the food, drink, and staff to be great. Great value is the $9.95 per person breakfast buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily.

Wonderful Hotel

The service by all of the staff was first-class and the room was the best we have ever stayed in. We stayed in a corner suite on the 26th floor and the view cannot be beat. We looked directly at the space needle and down Pine street to Pike Place market...

Grand Hyatt Hotel - Seattle

This is one of Seattle's nicest hotels. I've stayed there in the past and always enjoyed my stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, and the beds are extra comfortable! Absolutely LOVE the marble bathrooms! The location is also a plus...so close to everything including great restaurants, shopping, movies, theatre, etc. We will be back!
