Review of Grand hYATT

Would recommend Sat, Apr 10, 2010
Staff were excellent. They met my requests 110%. The fitness center was truly suberb- free and open 24/7. It included a sauna and steam room and jacuzzi. Bring your bathing suit. Excellent location right down from the convention center.

Very Nice

Would recommend Mon, Mar 1, 2010
We chose this hotel to visit/tour Seattle with friends from the Southwestern US. It was a convenient location and the hotel itself made us feel pampered. The rooms are very large, very attractive and very comfortable. The bathrooms are hugh and have marble tile, spa tub with separate very large glass shower.

Money saver

Seattle has free public transportation for the immediate downtown area.

Hotels that provide coffee in room need to make sure to provide sufficient creamer. Seldom do they do this and this hotel was even shorter than most.[...]

Grand Hyatt Hotel - Seattle

Would recommend Sat, Jan 23, 2010
This is one of Seattle's nicest hotels. I've stayed there in the past and always enjoyed my stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, and the beds are extra comfortable! Absolutely LOVE the marble bathrooms! The location is also a plus...so close to everything including great restaurants, shopping, movies, theatre, etc. We will be back!

Dining

The best manhattans and martinis, plus great food, are just across the street at Von's. Yummy!

Well done!

We loved the central location and, because we were in Seattle to see "Wicked", having the Paramount only a block away was wonderful. Pike Market, Old Town Underground tour, and lots of great places to eat were just a few of the highlights.

Pleasant and unobtrusive

Would recommend Wed, Sep 16, 2009
I enjoyed my first trip to Seattle largely due to the central location of this hotel. The staff were kind, helpful and relaxed. The hotel itself has plenty to do and is only about 8 blocks from Pike Market, the heart of the city. In the lobby you'll have a Ruth's Chris steakhouse (which also serves breakfast, actually) and a Starbucks, but not a lobby shop so far as I could tell. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and there is no security issue in the area as far as I can tell. I would happily stay here again - the hotel helped make my stay comfortable and never once got in the way of anything I really needed to enjoy myself.

Dining

Walk westward (i.e. can also go northwest or southwest) toward more restaurants and breweries than you'll need. Eastward you won't find much on foot.

great place to stay!!

Would recommend Mon, Sep 14, 2009
Very impressed with the location of the hotel. In the heart of the business district, walking distance to the Convention Center (1 block). The room (24th floor) had great views and was tastefully decorated. The bath was more spa-like than most hotels. The room service was responsive and the food excellent. The front staff were courteous and efficient. The valet and bell-staff were professional and attentive. I would stay there again without question. Very impressed with every aspect of this hotel and it's staff.

Attractions

Monrail service is two blocks from the hotel to take you directly to the World famous Space Needle. Just a quick taxi ride to the Pike Market. Two movie theaters within a block of the hotel. Easy access from and to the Interstate.

Grand Hyatt Seattle

Enjoyed a wonderful getaway from the daily grind and the Grand Hyatt made it nice. In this day and age, having to pay for daily internet service was the only issue I had with this trip. I have stayed at less stellar places that provided free internet.
