No Service
5 days of no service. Beds not made, Towels and face cloths not replaced. 6:00am, I called front desk for face cloth and towel to be brought to room and was informed I would have to come down and get them as no one is available to bring them up until 8:30am. Poor, Poor service.

Superb Location, Great Value
This hotel provides great value with a superb location bang next to Seattle Center. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the free breakfast is a great bonus, but beware it does get busy, however you can take stuff back to your room if you can't find a free table. The location is next to Seattle Center, which means the Space Needle, EMP and SciFi museums and much more, including the monorail which pops you into the heart of downtown for 4 dollars return. The hotel has free wifi, free parking, I don't think I could have done better except for a lot more more money.

Time in Seattle
Hotel was convenient to the Space Needle and Monorail. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Rooms were small but adequate. The breakfast buffet was above average. The free underground pakring was a great plus

Not a bad place for the price
I would probably rate this a little higher than a 3 star. Room was nice and clean and good for the cost. Biggest problem was heavy glass table in front of sofa bed that had to be moved every night before opening the bed, which made the area pretty cramped. Checked in without luggage as Southwest had lost all 3 bags (travelled with mother & sister). Hotel didn't have any toothbrushes, but did have toothpaste. Front desk staff nice, but didn't know their way around town much and couldn't tell you where things were located. Weather was cold and rainy so kind of hard to walk to restaurants as not many were very close. We had a stopped up sink but they fixed right away.

Unbeatable location for the price
Primary reason was sightseeing and day trip by Clipper Ferry to Victoria and Butchard Gardens. A few more drawers for clothing in room. Quite well in comparison with other choice hotels. Breakfast was excellent.

Okay overall
The stay at Comfort Suits was okay and satisfying overall with the price range. Good things are: close to Space Needle, Monorail, QFC (24-hour supermarket), nearby bus stops, free (not strong) wifi, free printer & PC usage, nearby casual local restaurants (mostly Asian food), hotel shuttle/van that takes you to downtown (they charge a small $2 fee and require booking ahead). Not-so-good things are: room was not that clean, hotel, especially the outside, could really use a make-over, hallways are dark/dim, hotel overall gives a "lifeless" feeling, streets outside of the hotel were 'ok' (I was a bit concerned and alert to walk back to the hotel alone at night as some iffy people were around and out & about in the area), breakfast is not up to par.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Take the #3 or #4 bus ($2 or $2.25 depending on the peak/non-peak hours) between the hotel to downtown. In downtown, Third Street is where you can catch both buses. The bus stop to get off for the hotel is called 'Valley & Taylor.' It is 1-2 stops after the Space Needle stop. Bus drivers in Seattle are very friendly and helpful!

Location was great for getting around.
Having a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in the room was very convenient. The breakfasts were okay and easily supplimented with QFC being within walking distance of the hotel. Spent the first morning at the Space Needle. The monorail made it convenient to get into the center of the shopping district and we were so lucky that we had great weather during our stay. Would recommend Seattle to anyone who wants a clean, safe place to visit.

QFC for groceries or sundry items was just a couple of blocks away and they are open 24-7. Perfect place to grab a bite to eat there or to take back to the hotel to warm up for late night snack.

Great Location
Very nice location. Staff was friendly and attentive. Within walking distance of the Seattle Center and monorail. We loved the fact that there was on-site parking at no extra charge. Nice breakfast in the morning. Very quiet and relaxing

In the shadow of the Needle
We arrived late-night after a long flight. We also found out the hard way that Rte 99 is an unexpected highway in the middle of the city - and the hotel is always on the other side of it! (get your GPS to figure out the right way to get there, and follow its instructions. Shortcuts are never shortcuts with Jersey barriers in the way). Parking is in a small underground and gated garage next to the hotel. Check in and then go park; you'll need your hotel key to get in after hours. The breakfast buffet was busy both days, so get there early if you want the best stuff, which for us was the biscuits and gravy. Incredible. The room was narrow, and oddly set up. The TV pointed at one of the two double beds, and though there was a couch, which surprised us, it looked at a desk and would have been awkward to try to watch TV from it. But a couch is better than no couch, and we were busy every day anyhow. It is a short walk from the hotel to the Needle, which will save you $7/hr in parking fees. It is too far to walk to the Pike Market. They have 2 computers set up so you can print out boarding tickets or surf the web or whatever. Overall, a very good choice of a hotel. Price is decent, rooms are clean. Food is very good. I'd recommend it.
