Practical but nothing special
A good place to crash if you are visiting Seattle, specially if you are joined by girls interested in shopping since it is located on the north side near a mall and on the way to Premium Outlets on the I-5 highway. Just a good place to crash; nothing special about it or the surroundings. You need a car to get there.

Nice place for a little money...
I came to seattle for a sporting event downtown, and this place was in just the perfect location for it. You can get on the interstate easily and your a block away from Aurora St. which took us right to the stadium, and helped us avoid the traffic.

ESA Review
I had asked for a smoke-free room but was given a room that smelled like 100 smokers had been in the room. I'm an ex- smoker and can take the smell of cigarette smoke but this was the worst I've ever experienced.

Laid back
I can't recommend this hotel
I booked this hotel for a friend. My friend smokes and I don't so that is why we booked this hotel for her. The smoke smell was overwhelming for her, while she is a smoker but the type that usually goes outside I guess that made the difference. One day she heard loud knocking down the hall and stuck her head out to ask what was going on and the other hotel guest said that he was being robbed. She didn't know if he was kidding or not, no police showed up that day. This in not a smart choice for a family stay in my opinion. She wanted a hotel room that she could smoke in, I think she may quit after this experience. The price was $77.00 a night including tax. This is a three floor hotel and the top floor has less smoking rooms if your a sometimes smoker. The hotel is north of downtown seattle by about 20 minutes but a 10 minute bus ride to a shopping mall, and a 10 minute walk to K-mart, Albertsons grocery store and Lowes hardware store.

will not stay here again
We were there for a dragon boat race competition. Location was convenient to the lake for that competition. That was the only good thing about the hotel. Staff was not friendly, they charged more than stated ahead of time for one pet. No service available to replenish coffee or soap. Exhorbitant vending prices. Extended Stay chain has always been good in the past but not this one.

Overall Good Value
If you are looking for a place to store your clothes and sleep while in Seattle, this is the place. Expect no frills (but responsive) service in a quiet area. You will have to be familiar with public transit or rent a car to get to any attractions but you pay less than half of what you would downtown. The room comes with one cleaning every 7 days but you can replace towels, dish soap, and shampoo, etc... as needed or pay for additional cleanings. The hotel did have Wi-Fi which I don't believe was advertised. Beds were a little hard.

See the Can-Can Castaways at the Can-Can right by Pike's Place market if you get the opportunity. Amazing show.
