Old with small rooms, but clean

Very small and outdated room with no desk. You can't get to the elevator without having to climb stairs so the hotel is definitely not for the handicapped. Minimal staff on duty – no concierge or bell hop– or least I could not find one.

Thin, thin walls; hot, hot room.

While the beds and linens were comfortable, the walls were really thin. We could hear everyone around us (who were all partying like they'd never stayed in a semi-decent hotel before). Also, it was hard to keep the temperature in the room at a reasonable level. We both woke up the next day feeling roasted, though we had the window open as much as possible and the heat turned off. On the plus side, it was easy to get coffee from the on-site Seattle's Best, and the bellhop was nice. Bottom line: it was fine for one night, and just to go to sleep. I wouldn't stay for a special occasion, though.

NO AC?

SO we were there when it happen to be hotter than 2 weeks previous in the summer and the hotel didn't have AC? WE were sweating in the room and the window would only open about 2 inches. The dining right across the street at Sazerac was wonderful though. Great food great price and the place looked very upscale. There are other hotles nearby so i would recommend trying another hotel unless its winter.

Merely ok

The room fixtures and amenities seemed outdated. The bed was ok. The room was either too cold or too hot - the hvac didn't seem capable of any sort of middle ground.

An okay stay

We were there for a cruise. The location is great and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The bathroom is small. The air conditioner did not work and made loud noises.

tiny room

I would not stay at the hotel again. The room was tiny and in need of maintenance. I had to force the door open with my shoulder in order to enter the room.

The really ugly...

The hotel room was very small, the decor was newly completed, however no desk, worn paint, safe didn't work and the closet was something you would find on a cabin cruiser. The bathroom was so small one barely had enough room to turn around

Nothing great

While this hotel has the benefit of being very close to the Seattle Art Museum and Pike Place Market, that is the only positive thing to say about this place. It is old and in poor repair. The door lock was broken, the bed was lumpy, the bathroom was so small you could barely step inside it. The room overall was very tiny, with a sagging window whose frame was pulling away from the glass, stains on the ceiling and walls. Pay a little more to get a nicer hotel that also has the location!
