Executive Pacific Seattle

Great location for a very satisfactory hotel. The staff deserves five stars as they were all friendly and helpful to obvious tourists. The hotel itself is old, but clean. It was weird to have a shower door for the main bathroom door, but it worked fine. The location couldn't be better as it is centrally located near the Pike Place Market and close enough to walk to the Space Needle and Pioneer Square if you don't mind a mile walk. If you don't want to walk, buses and the monorail are all close by. There is also a Seattle's Best Coffee Shop on the first floor which we prefer to *bucks. We would definitely stay here again and I would seek out other Executive Hotels in the future.

For lunch casual dining try Lowell's Restaurant and Bar in the Pike Place Market for Fish and Chips and the Fried Prawns. Don't forget a draft micro brew too.

Ideal location for business

A comfortable walk from either Amtrak or Link (from the Airport), with a Seattle's Best Coffee attached, a great restaurant across the street and easy walk to business meetings. Comfortable, clean, with friendly staff. If you appreciate older hotels that have been kept up to date, you'll be pleased to stay here.

Great Location

Room was fine but the place is doing some reconstruction so it is a bit loud. Bellman was awesome and helpful but front desk woman at checkout was just plain rude.

Stayed overnight for business. Location was next to Federal Court of Appeals and was perfect. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. Easy wi-fi connection was great. and it was $50 cheaper than hotel across the street.

Dont' judge it by the cover

The hotel looks outdated from the outside. But inside has been updated, everything look almost brand new. The location is great, with walking distance to most attractions. The new light rail station is only a few blocks away. A great value for the buck!

Good location. Clean and neat

We were there overnight to take a cruise the next day. It worked out well, but if to stay longer, would want a hotel with bigger rooms and a restuarant.

Great budget hotel in downtown seattle

I was a solo, female traveler spending a few nights in the city to meet up with old friends. I picked this hotel for its location and walking proximity to Pike's/ downtown shopping, etc. as I would be alone during the day. I was initially worried about the safety of the area surrounding the hotel (me being unfamiliar with downtown), but it felt totally safe and not in a seedy area like I thought. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Fitness room is actually a cardio room only with treadmill, bike and eliptical. Not best workout equipment, but sufficient. Super close to downtown shopping/activities, bus, and close to new light rail. I wish the grey line airport shuttle stopped at this location but it stops at the hotel a block away. (I had a ton of luggage and could not walk that distance so had to opt for the more expensive, but reliable/friendly towncar driver). Rooms were super comfortable. I would highly recommend this for the budget conscious traveler downtown, solo or otherwise. If you want luxury I would go elsewhere, but this was a great basic hotel. Clean, safe, friendly and convenient. Seattle's best on ground floor and Wireless was great too.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

It took only about 15 min or so to walk to Pike's, Westlake shopping center and other stores from this hotel. It's a safe walk with lots of people in business attire. Bus is also an option that's convenient.

Great honeymoon stay!

When we arrived I was surprised at the absolutely amazing staff. Concierge was fantastic about everything. The desk staff was always polite and cheerful. Basically, everyone there is amazing. Downstairs is a Seattle's Best coffee. Coffee snob or not, a coffee shop in hotel is NICE. A 5 minute downhill walk gets you to the waterfront at the Great Wheel, Aquarium, and tour boats. The retail shopping is excellent, and is all within close walking distance of the hotel. There are a hundred amazing restaurants within a half-mile radius. The monorail to Capitol Hill / Space Needle is two streets away from the hotel. The proximity to everything is certainly the big reason we stayed here. The rooms themselves were more than adequate. The rooms are small-ish. The bathroom is nice. It had a full tub. There was issue with temperature control, but it appeared to be centrally managed. The window unit AC was functional only as a (weak) fan. Clean hotel, no bugs or other surprises. Overall, worth the price. The location is perfect, the staff is amazing, and the hotel is a decent stay.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

The metered parking spaces across from the hotel entrance are free from 7PM-7AM. I was able to park a rental there overnight without paying a bunch for access to the parking garage.
