Served the purpose
The hotel was in a good location for discovering the Seattle downtown area and only a mile walk to the Seattle Center. We did have issues with the toilet in our room and the lobby bathroom was disgusting. The hotel was a bit loud, but definately doable. They did take care of problems in short notice.

So-So
Staff were friendly, lobby spaces are nice enough, but the room was grubby, and while it probably was clean, it just didn't feel clean. There was no way to control the heat. No fan, so no way to drown out noise. Room and halls smelled stale.

The really ugly...
The hotel room was very small, the decor was newly completed, however no desk, worn paint, safe didn't work and the closet was something you would find on a cabin cruiser. The bathroom was so small one barely had enough room to turn around

At least it was clean.
We went to the Seahawks game against Arizona (probably their only win this year) and we new that all we would use the room for was sleeping and personal hygiene (tiny room). It was clean and they gave us extra coffee. Now for the unexpected stuff. Our room key cards rarely worked and when we mentioned this to other elevator passengers they agreed, I also saw one woman stomp down the hall, very angry. I would drop off my wife and go park the car (next door, through the rain) and arrive at the room only to find her standing outside because her key card wouldn't work. The elevator would take us to the 7th floor instead of the 6th floor, and another person said this happened to them too. The closet and main room doors were very sticky, and were difficult to close/open. We heard other people slamming their doors too. I think the owners have tried to keep this old hotel clean and have skimped on performing needed repairs. When walking to the parking garage to get your car you must walk through a smelly alley or all the way around the block. The house keeping staff was very friendly and one of the front desk people was surly. We have stayed in many different hotels in and around Seattle. This one had the worst parking and room operation conditions we have ever encountered.

OK for overnight business
however there wasn't a desk or internet access. there was a business center for printing etc. this was definitely not what i expected. It is an old hotel that has not been updated (apparently they are doing some) i had to change rooms because my toilet was broken. the second room was on another floor and reeked of urine or something and it was wet smelling. the desk clerk said they had cleaned the carpet so that was probably what it was. staff was very helpful and friendly

in need of a remodel
I was expecting a bit more from this hotel for the price. I didn't expect the Hyatt or a brand new room but felt there should have been more amenities or a larger room for the price. The parking garage was a bit of a hassle and the room was not completely clean on arrival.
