Average, good location

My great hotel location allowed me to walk to all the fantastic Seattle sites. The room was clean, bed/pillows were comfy and staff was amicable. Downsides were small TV with horrible reception, no central air, and room was very small. I got the room at a great price so no real complaints.

Small, all the basics

The room was small, but had all the basics. It still had some charming details from bygone years such as the old antique elevator and the tiles in the bathroom. The only negative would have to be the shower head was way too low! Only works for those 5'2 and under, so a bath had to suffice

Hidden parking fee of $23 [...]

Room small but clean. Felt burned about the additional $23 for parking [...]. Never had that happen at a hotel before. Feel like you should point this out to others. Would have chosen the Hotel Monaco across the street with bigger room had I known.

Not bad value for money

The hotel was nice enough - not as "boutique" as I was expecting. My room was really small and had a window that opened out on the internal workings so not exactly pretty. I got woken up by trucks clearing bins etc every morning. But the bed was comfy and the shower had good pressure and it was clean and tidy, and close to town so all in all I'd go back again for a cheap deal. It was handy to a lot of good dining, tourist and shopping spots so a great location.

Use Urban Spoon to look for great local restaurants - there are plenty handy to the hotel, to suit all budgets.

Great Location

First time visiting and staying in Seattle. Executive was within the budget and in a great location. For me, hotels are just a place to rest my head and this place did the job. Pros: Location, location, location coffee shop connected to lobby clean parking garage nearby (at a cost) friendly Cons: outdated (esp. bathroom) small tv no mini fridge noise level from outside and surrounding rooms outdated elevator (long wait time)

Valentines Day 2014

My wife and I decided to head up to Seattle for the Valentines Day weekend. We stayed Friday the 14 through Sunday the 16th and were satisfied with this hotel. I should get the cons out first which may be insignificant to some but were annoying to us. The ATM in the "lobby" was out of order the entire them, no biggy because we could walk a block and find one. There was no lobby or bar to speak of, just a small room with 3 chairs. Never did go up to the mezanine so that might have benn better. The room was very small and hot ever with the heater off. You must pay for parking regardless if you have a room or not. This set us back 80 dollars. The best thing about this hotel is the price and the location to Pike Place. We walked each day to get to get to the market which was only a total fo 8 blocks. Very nice. The valet service was very helpful and kind. All in all this what we expected from this hotel for a quick getaway to Seattle. The location is perfect if you want to explore the heart of Seattle by foot.
