Anniversary Stay

Would recommend Tue, Nov 10, 2015
The hotel was cozy enough but has something wrong with the plumbing system. It was extremely hard to adjust the shower between scalding hot and cold. Weirdly enough, I was trying to get cold water out of the lavatory sink faucet and scalding hot water kept flowing out of the cold side. Understanding plumbing somewhat, I surmised that they had a circulatory pump for the hot water to be present at demand and sometimes that can make the hot water present on the cold side briefly. I flushed the toilet and got more water flowing and finally got cold water so I could brush my teeth! (not in the toilet). Also, they need to update the TV set up. They had a huge TV cabinet with an old clunky TV. They could easily put a flat screen on the wall, get rid of the TV cabinet and gain more space in the slightly undersized room. I know this sounds negative, but overall, I really enjoyed our stay, and things like these can hopefully be corrected. There is a great sports bar downstairs with an excellent blue cheese wedge salad and lots of yummy other food choices and also and an espresso, gelato snack shop near the lobby. It was very convenient downtown to reach areas such as Pike Street Market, shopping, restaurants and movies, and YES, we both would stay here again with hopes that attention to some of the things we mentioned here might be dealt with.

Small, well worn rooms. Garbage was full in room, made me question overall cleanliness. Probably a good student and overseas traveler hotel. Convenience of coffee shop and general downtown location a bonus.

Good Location

Would recommend Tue, Oct 13, 2015
The room was very small compared with most other hotels I have stayed at in the past. The bathroom was very small as well. However the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent. If you are in Seattle to see the sites and will not be spending long amounts of time in the room, the location can't be beat.

The Executive was affordable and conveniently located. It was not the most luxurious room in the world, but it was overall a great place to sleep!

Staff is wonderful! Rooms are okay. Walls are paper thin, the toilet being flushed next door sounded as if it had been flushed in our room.

Blood on the sohwer curtain

Would not recommend Mon, Sep 7, 2015
This hotel should not be rated more than 2 stars. The night I arrived and took a shower, there was blood on the shower curtain and the hot/cold faucet in the shower was reversed. The room was small without even a small desk to use a laptop.
