Nice stay with coffee shop

I stayed here on business for three nights in January. This is a great location and it is easy to get to things in the city walking, including the Convention Center. Staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of the hotel was that it is adjacent to a Seattle's Best Coffee and you don't even have to go outside to get coffee or food (some lady was there in her PJs!). Parking is expensive as it is everywhere in this area, but the valet is responsive, easy, and quick, and a day of parking gets you in and out privileges. The room was nice and quiet and a good size for a couple.

Great business amenities

Hotel was very convenient to walking tour ov Seattle. Places like Pike Market, just a 4 block walk. Monorail just 5 or 6 blocks. Room was nice, but small. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very helpful . I'd stay here again, and recommend it to a friend. By the way The worst meal I had in Seattle was @ the Space needle, Sky City restaurant. The bread was the best thing about it. They did comp Desert , though I'd have preferred not being charged for the uneatable Seafood Pasta. My brother's Prime rib, He rated a 2 out of 10. The view was great. should have just paid for the ride up, $17.00.

Center of Downtown Comfort

I stayed here with my girlfriend for the first night in Seattle. I booked a queen bed room and it was cozy and the staff was very friendly. It was really convenient being in the center if downtown, and all the attractions were in walking distance for us. Also much cheaper than all the other hotels in the area. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Seattle.

Weekend in Seattle watching Baseball

We had a very nice experience as we were in town to watch 2 Mariner baseball games, and roam downtown Seattle, especially Pike Street area. We were easily able to do this--We came by train, walked the mile to the hotel, walked down to First, and meandered the first evening to the ball park. The hotel was perfect for fit couples who do not intend to spend long time periods in their hotel room, and don't need a continental breakfast. Clean, sparse, small, but comfortable and the price was right!!!!!

Entertainment tip: Long walk from hotel

COMING FROM TRAIN STATION OR BALL PARK< MUCH EASIER TO WALK ON FIRST, SECOND OR THIRD RATHER THAN 4TH. Avoid steep hill walk by coming up from Union or Pike to the Hotel.

Unbeatable location

Everyone, desk and concierge staff very helpful. Room was quiet. Furnishings (including furniture) in our room was shabby. Had trouble initially with air conditioning but thanks to Engineer staff Tom it was taken care of. Overall was pleasant experience. Do not like the fact that hotel had to be prepaid.....too far in advance, unlike most other hotels.

great price with good location

The room was small, but the location was perfect--walking distance to shopping, Pike's Market, Pioneer Square and to QWest Stadium and Safeco Stadium. It was clean and I felt like I had walked back in time a bit because of the age of the hotel, which I rather liked. The staff was very friendly and parking was very affordable. This was a good find because of the cost.

Thin walls, but great location

This hotel was a good value for the location. If you're looking for a comfortable hotel to spend a lot of time lounging around this is not the spot because the rooms are a bit worn and small. However, if you want a comfortable spot in a great location for a good price this is it. The walls are thin and it can be loud so request at check-in to be in a room with no neighbors if possible.

Small, old and nice hotel

The room was clean and comfortable. It's at downtown and perfect for sightseeing. One thing a little disappointing was there were no fridge. But other than that, the experience there was pretty good.
