Perfect location in the Heart of Seattle

It was a great hotel in the center of the city and the financial district. Walkability to just about all areas of the city including Pike Place Market and the Space Needle. Only minuses I saw were the rooms were small and the amenities were limited. No fridge! Other than that perfect.

Great location

The location couldn't be any better. Bathrooms are tiny, tiny. Beds were comfy and the people who work there are great.

Good location, Good Value, Not a Place to Hang Out

Clean and adequate, this hotel has a convenient location directly across the street from the central library. The rooms are small and stuffy, with inoperable windows and no desk, but decent wifi. The cafe attached at street level is far better than most attached to a hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was unfortunate enough to get a room directly next to the pulley for the elevator on the top floor, so it felt like you were staying in an elevator shaft. With a better room, staying here would be a no-brainer, just not if you are looking to hang out at the hotel. If you have a busy agenda and need a convenient location for your base, this is for you.

Average Hotel

The hotel was clean band the staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the rooms were very small. The bathroom was remodeled but super small. The air conditioner did not work so the room got stuffy, even with the window open. If you don't want to spend a lot of money and are not spending much time in your room, its a good place to stay.

For an excellent happy hour, hit up Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria in Westlake. Free 8" margherita pizza with each drink ordered. Yummy!!!!!

Central Location is plus

Average hotel, to be honest. The central location of this hotel in downtown is favorable. It is walking distance to the convention center, fish market, waterfront, pioneer square, etc. My experience at the hotel was average--just a room to sleep, quite frankly.

What to expect

This hotel is in the heart of Seattle. For the price and location it is a bargain. But you get what you pay for. The rooms are tiny, no room to move, and we had some trouble with internet. But the staff is super nice and friendly. Also be ready to pay $30/day for parking if you have a car.

very small hotel

Be aware the parking is available for $23/night at other garage. Also, very small space. Walking distance to shopping area, and Public market place

Decent Stay for a Weekend.

I was in town for the weekend on business and found the hotel to be a decent place to stay if you will not be spending a lot of time in the room. I reserved their deluxe suite which was quite small. It was only manageable for a single traveler. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a nice array of channels. The bathroom was quite small as well. The tub appeared to be stained which wasn't very nice to look at but the shower was nice. I found the heat/ac unit to be rather old and clunky. You cannot do much to control either. There is just a fan option. When I arrived the room was super hot and stuffy. The window only opens 6 inches so it took a while for the room to air out and cool down. The front desk staff seemed rather aloof and disinterested in their customers as well. Do not use the vending machines in the hotel, they charge $2.00 for a can of soda!! Instead, take a walk to the drugstore just a few blocks south of the hotel and purchase beverages there. This hotel is best for those who do not plan on driving since parking is expensive and minimal. Other than that, it was an okay stay, I would only stay here again if I wasn't spending much time in the room.

The fabulous Seattle Public Library is directly next door. There is also a coffee shop in the lobby.

Great Location

This hotel is in a good spot in the central downtown area. Walking distance to a lot of places - coffee shop in the lobby. However, the maintenance on the rooms is not being kept up, so a few mechanical things could have been better.
