Executive Hotel Pacific review

Executive Hotel Pacific needs that special something. The room I had was not just small. I don't mind small I did not spend much time there. But it was cramped and furniture was not useful. I needed a tiny desk, and a bathroom door that did not open onto the toilet seat. I hit my knees everytime I closed the bathroom door, and I am not very tall. The room smells a must smell, cannot identify it. Maybe it needs new carpeting.

Good centrally-located hotel

The location is great. It's a nice enough place. The rooms are small. A little bit shabby in some respects, though clean. The floor of our bath/shower was loose, so that it would sink down when you stood on it and simultaneously 'pop up' in another spot. Still, on the whole I'd recommend it if you're not too fussy.

Great place in heart of Seattle

We had a nice, clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great - within walking distance of Pike Street Market, the Klondike Gold Rush Museum, the Seattle Art Museum, trolley stops, good restaurants and across the street from the Public Library. Very much enjoyed our stay in Seattle.

Baseball Trip

The hotel location was great! We were moved to another room after complaining. Our first room was right next to the elevator shaft.

Mixed

The location was good and value OK for Seattle. However, walls are paper thin. The first night, I heard the people in the next room talking in a normal volume. The second night a barking dog in the next room was a bother, but calmed down when its master returned. No back-up roll of toilet tissue either night. Garbage pail not emptied after first night. Closet smelled funny. Decor of room good and bed was incredibly comfy. A/C just right.

Better than expected

Hotel allowed an early 2pm check-in. Hotel staff welcoming. Helped with a balky TV remote quickly. Room small, but tastefully furnished. Needed more bathroom shelf space. Would have liked a view OTHER than of a parking garage. Comfortable bed. Ate supper and breakfast nearby. Reduced $27 parking rate charged per day at garage behind hotel if pay at front desk upon check-out.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Seattle Art Museum within hilly 3 block walk, but closed on Mon/Tues when tried to visit. 7 to 8 block walk to Pioneer Square and Underground Tour, or Pike Place Market. Pike Place underwhelmed me. Bill Gates Foundation near Space needle worth a visit. The waterfront would require strong legs for the uphill return if we'd gone there.

business trip

The hotel is in a good location. The room was small and grimy, no desk provided. The lighting was also too dim. On a bright note, the staff was professional and pleasant.
