Great Location

Room was very small. Had a slight musty odor. The hotel was situated perfectly to access all Seattle attractions.

Great Location, Average Amenities

Mom and I were visiting Seattle for the first time and wanted to stay downtown. This hotel was in a really great location and only 10 min walk from Pikes Peak Market and 2 blocks from the Link to the airport. The amenities are average. The bed was not particularly soft and only 2 pillows were given. Shampoo was a little watery. They did include a shower cap which was helpful. I wish the rooms had a bit better lighting as it was pretty dim. Cable does not include as many channels as usual. What kind of annoyed me was that they told us blatantly that we had to vacate at 11 pm instead of the usual 1 pm the next day because they had an large influx of guests coming to watch the football game. However the doorman was very pleasant in helping us with our luggage. Overall, it's an ok place to sleep. We mostly picked it for its location.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

If you want to see the view from the Space Needle, you might consider going on the observation deck of the Columbia tower which is much higher than the Space Needle and less than half the price of admission.

Excellent Hotel and Services

All administrative personnel ranging from the General Manager to desk clerks and to the cleaners did wonderful jobs. The 5 - 6 p.m. matinee' everyday was exceptionally welcoming and the agents who worked there were very polite and hospitable. I will rate this hotel and A ranting. Not So Fantastic Hotel

The hotel was decent, but not worth what I paid ($23 per night parking, $10 1 day access for internet). For what I paid at the end of it, I wish I would have stayed somewhere else. The only thing that made the hotel better were the toiletries, bed sheets and the coffee.

loves it!

Stayed for Thanksgiving holiday...it was great! I love the vintage charm the hotel has. The room was small but cozy and comfy. Bed was also comfy. The cons I have is that there was no fan in the restroom, and no air conditioning...tried opening window but it wouldn't stay open. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Front desk even printed out what restraunts were open for Turkey Day for me! Location was perfect also, close to everything! I would def stay again!!

Noisy even with earplugs

My room was next to the elevator - despite wearing earplugs and playing a hastily downloaded white noise app on my iPhone, I could still hear the elevator and the neighbors' intimate relations. The room was nice with a cute bathroom and yummy verbena soap. It was in a great location within walking distance from the train station and shopping.

Facility was too warm

Love the historical building and feel. Great location to walk to and from the convention center. Took light rain into town from airport and easy walk from terminal. However, unable to control room temperature. The facility was extermely hot. Opened window, when asked at the front desk they said A/C had been turned off only heat now. So, even though window open and temp set to lowest posible number room was too hot. 3rd day into stay turned of unit completely -- this might have done the trip as temps outside fell into the 40s and room finally became comfortable. Hallways were also extremely warm. So, first 2 days of stay were tough but the rest of the week was fine. I harassed the front desk personnel and said now I know what the additional $100 that the big name chains charged per night was for - the A/C. Would I stay here again - if it were not for the discomfort of the first 2 nights - sure. (Maybe)

Weekend get away!

Upon arrival it was confusing on were you should park? The concierges were very nice and helpful. The room was really small but nice. It was suppose to be a "superior Queen" but I would not have called it that myself.

Not a comfortable stay

Pros: good location, clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Cons: no air conditioning this time of year although the weather is not cold enough to warrant turning on the heater. We did get a fan and the window opened a little but it was not enough. The rooms are so small that you could barely wheel a suitcase around the bed. The bathroom counter was so low that the toilet lid would not stay opened and the bathroom door was just a glass door with no knob, just a magnet to close it. Overall, it was miserably hot and not comfortable at all.
