Days Inn Seattle-Lynnwood

Was on vacation in the Seattle area visiting family and friends. Asked for a second floor reservation and they booked me on the first floor, but did give me a 2nd floor room when I got there. The room was a "no smoking" room but smelled of smoke and like someone peed in the A/C venting. The "secure" doors on the exterior of the building that were supposed to require your room key to open, were almost always propped open, day and night! I shut them several times. Did not feel very secure at this hotel. Also the wi-fi was broken the whole time. Though the room was older and had unpleasant odors, I do think the housekeeping staff did a good job with daily room cleaning, I don't think it's their fault. Just think the building is older and fixtures need deep cleaning and updating.

The location is great but it more than 'blocks' from the mall. The rooms was small, the carpet was not clean, and there was a slight odor in the room. The bed was terrible! The bathtub and the water faucets both had the 'Hot' and 'Cold' handles mislabeled. The breakfast times are not convenient for the typical business traveler.

Ice was on driveway and they didn't put sand out or anything. Pillows on beds were 8 inches thick and hard. Hot and Cold water at sink were reversed.

drove around the block three times before we saw it. staff was very helpfull and friendly. quiet location, clean rooms, and cont breakfast. excellent value for the money

The Days Inn in Lynnwood was a comfortable place to spend the night. We were not looking for any amenities. The bed was comfortable and the room was decent. We just needed a place to sleep as we spent very little time there so you get what you pay for. The price was extremely reasonable and that's what we wanted for this overnighter.

The hotel was hard to find because it was behind Denny's restaurant. The 'Days Inn' sign was way toooo small, was not sure where the road was that lead to the hotel. Almost stopped to ask at Denny's Restuart, but by the time I was going to, I finally found the road. There was one way in and one way out. The hotel phones weren't working because of some problems that they had (maybe water in the line?) Someone I knew that was staying there mentioned that there were several restaurants nearby, that's how I knew about the location. Otherwise the stay wasn't to bad.

The hot/cold knobs were reversed on the sink... and a light bulb in the floor lamp was out, but overall the room and features were adequate and fine considering the reasonable price.

My brother and I were traveling to a sister-in-laws funeral and hadn't noticed that the room we had reserved had only one bed. When we got to the motel and asked if we could upgrade to a room with two beds she tried and tried to get the computer to let her do it and it wouldn't. She had me call where we had made the reservations through and they couldn't or wouldn't do anything. She was able to accomodate us and it made all the difference in our trip. I certainly hope she doesn't get into any trouble for what she did. I my opinion she needs a star. It was obvious that the motel was not full and had plenty of rooms and for her to be sensitive to our needs and request and brave enough to take care of us was appreciated during this sad time.

I couldn't find the place, as it had just been renamed and wasn't very obvious, behind a restaurant. It was advertised with free refer, I had to ask for one, free HBO, I had no HBO, and free wifi, however not in the rooms. They had one computer set up in the lobby for the WIFI. Not really acceptable. The service and attitude of the staff was first rate however, and I appreciated their responses to my requests.

Hotel was great, busy road but fairly easy access. Behind Denny"s so close for a snack. Large room, staff friendly and helpful, nice breakfast. Would use again.
