Nice clean hotel

We enjoyed our stay. It was not as centrally located as we hoped but once we figured out the transportation system we were fine.

Great Views of Lake Union

We came up to see the tulips in LaConner and decided to stay in Seattle for one night. Not really knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful and they were always smiling. We stayed on the seventh floor with a great view Lake Union. The room was very clean (brand new like). The bed was very comfortable and the floor/room was very quite. Close enough to walk to most of Seattle's attractions, Space Needle, Pikes Market, REI... I definitely recommend staying here.

Clean, friendly and accommodating

My bf and I stayed here for a stay-cation. It was a nice room for the evening; very comfy bed, good space. We paid extra for the lake view, may or may not have been worth it (I don't know what the city view was like) but I had definitely expected more lake in my view. The staff was very friendly, everything was clean, I slept well, and the area seemed safe; really everything you could want out of a hotel! But you should note that this site says there's a continental breakfast - there isn't. The hotel restaurant has breakfast, but I saw no evidence of a continental breakfast.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

If you're a brunch lover, eat at Portage Bay (but expect a wait, especially on the weekends). It's a 9 min walk from the hotel on Terry Ave. If you love pancakes/french toast, they have a fruit bar; you order your cakes/toast, they bring them out, you go up to the fruit bar and go wild with toppings! They have great savory food too (I recommend the sweet potato frittata), and mimosas with any of their fresh juices (grapefruit mimosa, apple juice mimosa, etc.). And it's definitely a Seattle restaurant with its organic, sustainable food.

Comfortable hotel

We stayed here for just a night, but had a great experience. When we checked in, the staff made sure we had local maps. The bed was soft and comfortable; we had a nice view of the Space Needle; and the shower was great (after several days of skiing, this was especially appreciated). Breakfast in the morning included different types of eggs, potatoes, meats, and cereals.

Solid, not too expensive, good location

We stayed here for three nights in December. I love the location looking right onto Lake Union. It's cool to watch the seaplanes. The only major problem is that Westlake Avenue is very busy, and the traffic is very noisy. The restaurant was reasonable, both in terms of price and food, but be aware that they do not serve lunch. The pool and hot tub were clean and acceptable, although a very strong smell of chlorine, typical of most hotels like this.

Great Girls Weekend

My girlfriends and I came to Seattle for a weekend and spent the night here at the Courtyard and LOVED it. The hotel was near enough to downtown with the noise and price tag. We absolutely enjoyed our time and the hotel was a huge part of it. great staff and great service, doesn't get better then that!!
