Lake Union's premier hotel for travelers

Good, but not great
Good but not great. Went to check in a little early, was looked down upon because we booked through 0rbitz, Almost didn't get the room we wanted "because we were 0rbitz". Additionally, were woken up at 9:15am on a Sunday by housekeeping wanting to start cleaning. Called the front desk and ended up being comped breakfast, which was very nice.

Weekend getaway
Staff very distracted and not informative on charges they will put on your card. They seemed put out when you asked them questions common to staying in a unknown town. No glasses in room to use with water..odd.

Disappointed that the city view we had was a building across the street from our hotel.Was quite of a walk to attractions,plus sidewalks closed due to construction and not a good neighborhood.resteruant early hours only,closed most of the time we were there on a weekend. Not a good choice for the cost.

Seattle visit
The hotel was nice, the construction work was noisy. The only problem we had was our daughter left her I-pod and some jewelry in the room when we checked out and the hotel did not recover it, so the maid service had to have taken it and not reported it. I'm sure the hotel could have traced who cleaned the room, but evidently did not take the time to do so.

Even though it is posted that there is a charge for riding the trolly to town, we could not get the machine to work and no one ever asked for a ticket or proof of payment.

Great stay while visiting SPU
Would have hoped for better late night restaurant hours. Unfortunately, on a Saturday there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. She did her best but we did have a long wait.

Not Happy!
This was definately not worth the price I paid for a two night stay! With all the construction and detours around the hotel the price was too high!

Couple in Love 4 Life
Great Location, Exquisite feeling
We went to Jazz Alley after a fabulous dinner at Charters(recommended by the concierge). The whole evening and the next morning we felt very special. Truly romantic couple of days, just before Xmas, for Just US.

Lobby had a bad aroma when we first arrived on November 24, 2010. Toiletries ere not up to par. This Marriott Residence Inn had a musty aroma throughout our four day stay. We have not been credited with a change in plans that caused us to have to delay our arrival one day because of snow and a jetliner skidding off the runway on November 23, 2010. Experience was not on a par with other Marriott Hotel Stays such as Long Beach, NYC, etc.
