Quick trip to Seattle in Spring
I was able to get a decent price for the hotel room on short notice. The hotel is located just blocks from the space needle. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was large and well kept up. Parking in the garage cost a little but was a breeze.

Great Place
Bring your own pillow!!! That's the only problem I had. The pillows were very big and hurt my neck. Other than that, I loved the location, the front desk was very helpful. They brought a crib up as soon as I asked. Stay away from the breakfast buffet. It was not good and not worth the 20 bucks I paid. I loved the "go green" affect. Also, we ordered pizza from Padrino's Pizza. They delivered it for free and it was the best pizza I have ever ate.

Just the accomodations we needed
Location in Seattle City Center, close to key tourist attractions, e.g. Space Needle, Pike's Market. Just the location we hoped for. Helpful staff, quiet area, clean room, wi-fi worked. Didn't spend much time in the room - were touring the city. Easy to get to off I-5 and parking at the hotel. There are more expensive hotels in the area, but all we needed was a quiet clean room. Would/will use again.

Visited Seattle to see my 11-year-old son, stayed here to be central to Seattle activities. Room very clean and quiet, but COLD. Had to have the heater running on high all the time. Staff very pleasant and helpful. A good test is to ask desk person for recommendation on nearby restaurant. Also a good restaurant on premises. I plan to return.

Happy with what we got
The hotel was located right next to the space needle, and convenient to downtown and Pikes Market. If you are using public transportation this is a good place to locate. The breakfast was above average with hot food. The breakfast food was also different the two days we were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large sized and very eco friendly with handy and convenient dispensers in the bathroom and vanity sink. The parking garage was secure and easily accessed. However, the $15 per day parking fee for guests was somewhat of a surprise. That would be the only dark cloud on the whole of the stay. Being from Las Vegas it is by no means five star, but unless you are staying inside, this is a good place to get some sleep in between outings.

Pikes (A must see) is a bit of a walk, but with all of the available public transportation it is very managable.

Good Value, Nice Room
Nice, large room with 2 queen size beds; free breakfast (not just "continental") a nice feature; good location for downtown & ferry access. Restaurant not open for lunch which was a drawback. Front desk staff generally not very friendly, sometimes not very helpful. (There were a couple very friendly, helpful staff.) I really appreciated the "eco-friendly" aspects of the hotel. Overall a good value.

As advertised
Overall, this was a fine place to stay. Clean, reasonably quiet (minus the garbage trucks at 4am - two mornings in a row?!? But, we did have our windows open). We love that this is a very "green" hotel: recycling bin in the room, soap dispensers in the bathroom, composting at breakfast, etc - we wish more hotels would do this. The location is good - short walk or monorail ride to downtown (we walked - about 10-15 minutes to Pike Place with a child in stroller). The food options around the hotel are OK, but more variety is available by going to downtown or one of the local neighborhoods (by driving or bus: Fremont, Ballard, Capitol Hill). Zeek's Pizza is great and delivered to our room. If you're renting a car, a big plus is the free parking - this was what sold us on the hotel in the first place. Free *fast* internet (wireless) was another plus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK (not bad, not phenomenal). Only complaint is that the restaurant/bar didn't open until 5pm each night. I would have liked to work down in the bar in the afternoon while the baby slept - but, minor compared to the other perks. Worth a try if you're looking for a reasonably cheap, green, well-positioned place to stay in downtown Seattle.

If you need a quick, excellent meal in the hotel room, Zeek's pizza down the street delivers to your room. Fabulous pizza (though a bit more expensive than typical Pizza Hut fare) and friednly, competent staff.

Seattle trip
The hotel was clean, but you could tell that it was an older building. There must have been an ambulance garage close because we heard the sirens all the time. The location was great! We could walk a block to the Seattle Center and then take the monorail to take us closer to Pike Place Market. We only drove the rental car one time besides to and from the airport.

The resturant in the hotel was very expensive. We found a littl BBQ place called Papa Jones BBQ, and it was good food and a decent price.
