Where are the stairs?

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel through [...] requesting a King size bed. After having to endure a unnecessarily long check-in we learned that we ended up in a double full/queen bed room facing a parking lot on the second floor. When we attempted to remedy the situation with the front desk staff they explained that the room type reserved isn't guaranteed and this is a fault on the side of [...]. One staff member attempted to be accommodating by trying to switch us with another room but that was unsuccessful.Other concerns were that another patron complained about the hot tub not working to which the front desk staff seemed unaware of. While waiting for the elevators I inquired with staff as to where the stairs were located. He replied that they were on the outside of the building but that he would have to unlock it for me to access it. This struck me as a clear safety concern and I proceeded to just wait for the elevator since it was raining and we had our luggage.*The front desk seemed exceptionally understaffed at check-in and check out, this caused inconvenience by being extraordinarily lengthy.

Nice friendly Hotel

The room was very clean we had a great view from our room window of the space needle. we were located close enough to walk to alot of places. Teh staff were great and very helpful. For an older hotel it really was very comfortable and I would gladly stay there again on my next trip. The other plus was, We rented a car and parking is a big issue in Seattle. We did not have to pay . This hortel had free parking.

We were a short walk away from Space needle and restaurants and Martini Bar. Shopping. The only reason we took cab back to hotel was the late night and cold. Other wise the walk was very close.

Great Proximity

The Best Western Executive Inn Seattle was very comfortable. The room was nice sized, although we asked for a king bed and got 2 Queens. There wasn't that much counter space by the vanity, but I liked that it was seperate from the bathroom. Our room was on the second floor and because the hotel is only two blocks from the space needle we had a great view. We were also able to walk to Key Arena to see a Seattle Sonics basketball game. The only negatives were the breakfast buffett (only choice on weekends) and the proximity to a bar. We noticed several intoxicated loud individuals walking about the street on Saturday night. Everything else was great. The monorail is only two blocks from the hotel and it takes you to the great downtown area for only $2.00.

The Experience the Music Museum/Science Fiction Museum was two blocks away and awesome. You get admittance to both museums for $15.00. If you are a fan of music you must visit this place.

Great Experience

We checked in after 10pm and the guy at the desk was awesome. He gave us suggestions on delivery in case we were hungry and answered a whole lot of questions on where we should go and what we should see with just one day to visit. We finally decided after moving our things in that we just wanted to watch a movie and relax. We asked if they had any popcorn and he delivered 2 microwaveable bags, at no charge. I wish I could remember his name! THANKS. This hotel is 2 blocks from the Space Needle (where you can pick up the monorail into downtown or the "Ducks" or the hop on hop off tours. Great location.

Bambino's pizza is just a few blocks walk. It is a small quaint fairly authentic Italian Pizza place with wood oven pizza that's great. They deliver to the hotel also.

A comfortable option

Good value for money is sometimes code for cheap and just better than nasty. This hotel provided a great combination of clean and comfortable rooms with excellent service and facilities in their public spaces. A short walk to the monorail was an added bonus and it provided eacy access to Downtown Seattle.

Nice Deal

We like the location and the size of the room. We were not inpressed with the breakfast buffet, especially after we found mold on a muffin. Room was great size, good features and WARM. We didn't like having to pay for parking but know hotels are doing that now. We didn't remember seeing that item on the list when we were checking out hotels.

Great location

We went to Seattle to attend the Celtic Thunder concert. It was a very short walk to Seattle Center. This was our first trip to Seattle that we stayed at a downtown hotel and will stay there again if we attend another event at Seattle Center.

Awesome Stay in a Great Location

We had a great time staying at the Best Western Executive Inn. It was in a great location as we were having dinner at the Space Needle. The Service was excellent, especially John at the desk. The hot tub in the fitness center was private enough that my husband and I could relax. The bar/bartender was wonderful. We played pool in the bar and enjoyed yummy appetizers there as well. The beds were comfy and the rooms quiet. I would totally recommend this hotel to everyone. The only complaint was the slow elevator and the fact that they didn't have stairs to the lobby so you had to wait for the slow elevator. Other than that it was wonderful.

Great place to stay

Our Anniversary stay was awesome! The hotel is located at Seattle Center which is walking distance to the Space needle and the Monarail which takes you to West Lake Center Mall! IT was nice to be able to keep our vehicle in the parking garage at the hotel, all weekend and be able to walk to most places we wanted to visit. The Space Needle was front and center of our view from our hotel room which made for an extremely romantic stay! Great Hotel for the affordable price!

Great Prce for a Wonderful Location

We didn't have as much time as we thought do to travelling issues but the area was great. Once you got to the heart of downtown, where the shopping and eating were, everything was in walking distance. All you had to do was park your car. We weren't in the hotel much but to sleep. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable!
