A Nice Surprise
The Best Western Executive Inn Seattle Downtown as a very nice surprise. Near the Space Needle, it was a warm and very well maintained hotel. The room was large, the bathroom / shower was in great condition, the lobby is very welcoming and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful -- especially with calling a taxi. For Seattle and the location, the rate was a bit higher than I thought it should be, but I'd stay here again.

awesome view of the space needle
large room. coffee, blow dryer and an iron was a plus. friendly staff. great breakfast buffet. Couldn't get any closer to the space needle. That was great.

As good as it gets
I needed a convenient location in Seattle for a couple of interviews and city browsing. This hotel is incredibly located; safe, close to all bus lines, practically next to the Space Needle. Downtown attractions are either a safe walk or a short bus (or a cab) ride away. The rooms are very clean. The staff is wonderful. The only problem was, the internet slows down from time to time, but 80% of the time, it's very fast. The parking and breakfast are extra (15 / night & 7.50 respectively) but what else would you expect ? Would definitely repeat my stay.

Everything great except for breakfast
Location is great - close to the Seattle Center and the Lake Union area. Rooms are neat and quiet. Having secure parking is a real bonus. The only bad experience is the breakfast. They ran out of food and didn't seem to be in much hurry to replace it; a guest at my table had to tell the dining room attendent to buss some tables so others could sit down. Fortunately McDonalds is only two easy blocks away. The sad part is, breakfast was the same both previous times I stayed there. It's a minor drawback compared to the advantage of location, security and price. One other disturbing item occurred when I went to print my boarding pass. After my experience last time, I checked to make sure there was paper in the printer - there was. When I printed the pass, I discovered there was no ink in the printer so went to the counter to ask if they had any ink and was told that they thought they might get some in "next weeks shipment." When the indifferent desk clerk printed my boarding pass, she missed a critical box to check and I lost my primo exit row seat and it wasn't recoverable. I would recommend this facility to a friend, but with appropriate warnings.
