IT'S A VERY GOOD CHOICE FOR BACKPAKER
I'm a international exchange student in WSU in Pullman, I usually take a flight in Seattle and stay there the night before. Each time I choose to stay in Best Western Loyal Inn the night before and have several hours to visit some place in Seattle the next morning. So I think the convinent metro transportation (location of the hotel) and the low price is my personal way to choose a hotel to stay in when I'm traveling. In Seattle, Best Western Loyal inn is locatted in a very convinece area without crowd cars and noise like Pine Street, and it's easy to take a bus to slip around. Horizontally, we can take a No.8 bus to the museums near Capitol Hill and Space Neddle in Seattle Center; vertically, No.5 bus could go up directly to Woodland Park Zoo and North Gate Shopping Center ,while No.26 bus goes to the University of Washington where I can meet my friends, when come to the south, it's very colsed to Pine Street and Pike Market. For arriving in Seattle, it only takes me about 10 mintues to walk to the inn from Greyhound Bus Station and the final stop of No.174/194 Bus from the airport. When comes to Price, it isn't so expensive for most of people, and sometimes it is chaper than other hotels in the downtown of Seattle for bussiness trips. And the servces there is also veyr good. Anyway, I consider Best Western Inn as my best place to live in Seattle, it also should be a best choice kor backpackers.

Great hotel for the price,great location
I always stay here when I come to Seattle. The location is great, within walking distance of Pike Place Market and Seattle Center. The beds are super comfy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the hot tub is open till really late!

Belltown is just a few blocks down, and they have a great nightlife scene there...good places to eat and go for happy hour.

The Walking Fishing Pole
Exceptional service with a smile!
Except for the iron that didn't work (lucky I brought one) the whole experience with the hotel, was right-on as advertised in [...]. A friendly staff was always helpful, with a smile! Rooms were clean and well appointed; free internet, (microwave and frig. in the room), and even free chocolate cookies at the front desk, were all plus'! I think I gained ten pounds eating at the free buffet each morning. From check-in to check-out, expect a quality experience that is sure not to disappoint!! Les

Great location and clean
Location was great. Only about 5 min away from space needle. Budget car rental was less than a block away which we thought was convenient. Break was buffet style (toast, English muffins, ham and eggs patties, waffles, yogurt, cereals, etc). Not fancy but different selections that will satisfy everyone. Parking was very affordable. $10 for one night (covers up till 6pm the following day). Liked having soap dispensers in the room instead of tiny bottles filling up landfill.

The staff was awesome, the breakfast was great, the location was perfect! The room was clean and the hotel is all about being "green"! We will be staying here every time! Also, don't miss the Korean restaurant across the street- order the bulgogee!!!!!!!

Good Location
The Best Western Loyal Inn on 8th Ave. in Seattle, Washington was a little over priced, but was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good and is available everyday between 630am-1030am...so you don't have to get up before the rooster to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. I rented a car and that was a mistake...the hotel charges $10.00 plus tax per day for parking...and I never moved the car once I checked in...everything is within walking distance, and it is easier to walk than to drive/park/etc...Had no problems at all with the wireless internet, which is free and available in the rooms.

Decent place....good value
The BW Loyal Inn is a great place to stay if you are just passing through Seattle or aren't staying for an extended time. The staff here are very friendly and helpful! The room we stayed in was very large and was kept clean. The bathroom was clean and nice. There was a gym and hot tub which we didn't use, but other guests seem to enjoy. The hotel is really close to a lot of tourist attractions which is great. They also have a full continental breakfast with waffle irons, bagels, toast, coffee, etc which was great!! Overall, we had a good experience.
