roach motel
the room was really nasty the sheets had blood stains on them and the bed felt like a rock. will never stay there again

This is my fourth time staying at this hotel. It's bare bones - you'll be reminded of a college dormitory on the first day of school. The walls are cinder block and have nothing on them. The lighting is all fluorescent and a bit dim with two reading lights by the bed and one light for the room. The No Smoking rooms on a couple of occasions I have stayed there have seemed converted with a clear smell of smoke in the room from years gone by. The bedspreads are old and occasionally have cigarette burns in them. This might sound like an overall negative review. However, the hotel has been exactly what I am looking for - extremely inexpensive and well situated in the Tri-Cities. Those who are noise sensitive might want to bring ear plugs as some rooms are close to the highway. Wifi is, if I recall correctly, $4 additional. Overall, you get what you pay for here, but you don't pay much and that's the point.

Basic Bliss
clean, comfortable room. Nofrills but easy convienent location. Good restaraunts and river within walking distance.

Will not stay here again
We came to the area to do some geocaching. I will not stay at this hotel again. They raised the price after booking. They would not initially give us our AARP discount even though we booked with it. We had to get a refund the next day from a manager. The room was dirty with either blood or food on the wall outlet, mold around the trim in the bathroom and had an odor. No free wifi (they charge you extra) and no breakfast, only coffee.

Stay at a higher priced motel and save money. With the extra cost of wifi, and eating breakfast out, we could have stayed at a nicer place and saved money.

No frill, but good value
Hotel is near lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. Very clean and neat, but lack frills, even some essentials such as shampoo.

Highway not conducive to walking but a short drive gets you to a great variety of good restaurants.

Our Night Out
It was cheap and not just in $$$, we will never stay there again. The carpet was either wet or just sticky, the mattress was broken down so badly. It was the worst night sleep we have had in a motel. The area was very noisy but they can't help that. No amenities, no coffee in the room, no shampoo. The shower was very dangerous, very small and slippery. We didn't feel safe at all, oh there was one good thing about the shower, the water pressure was great. The television was small but at least we had T.V. My husband went to turn the heat off and the whole front panel came off and landed on the floor. He was able to put it back on, I think that had happened before but they have just never fixed it. Someone is going to get hurt, if a child had been sitting close it could have been serious. I will never stay there again.

Fishing overnight
The motel was convenient to the location we desired, it was quite clean and comfortable. We arrived early evening and left at sunrise. It was perfect for our needs and we will stay there again on future trips to the area.
