Amazing room for a 3 Star rating!

This was by far the nicest 3-star room I have ever seen. It had an entire kitchen, dining table, and very comfortable king bed. The design was outstanding. Room was much wider than usual which made it feel more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Outstanding!

Don't miss Chuhuly Gardens! We also had a great time nearby at "Keys on Main." A dueling piano bar with several extremely talented musicians! This hotel can be VERY difficult to find but worth it!

Great stay

The Larkspur Landing hotel is only 10 minutes away from the airport. Close enough to be convenient, but not so close to hear the airplanes. Clean and quiet with a northwest decor - not a cookie cutter hotel chain.

Recommended stay

I love where the hotel is located. It is near southcenter mall and varied restaurants surround it. However, it would be better if they provide toothbrush, toothpaste and dryer in each room because I had to ask the front desk for the toothpaste everyday. Other than that, i love the cleaniness and friendliness of the staff there.

Great overnight stay

This hotel is conveniently located: close to the airport and shopping. Warm cookies in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning. The room was very inviting with a kitchen, and comfortable bed. We were there just overnight but would be comfortable for a longer stay. Staff was very friendly.

Another Great Stay, handicapped room again

We stayed at this hotel in July 2013 and decided to stay here again for our short Seattle trip. It's a good hotel as it is clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly too. Wifi worked well in our 4th floor room. Based on the number of cars in the parking lot, the hotel was probably not even half occupied. If you decide to stay here, make sure you have a car, as it is not really accessible to shopping/restaurants. Southcenter mall is nearby to the west about 10 minutes away by car. There are also many restaurants nearby the mall as well. We ended up at Mizuki, which is a Japanese/Asian all you can eat buffet. The last time we booked through this site in July 2013, we received a handicapped room (411) and our most recent booking yielded the same room. While the handicapped room is larger than the standard 1 bedroom suite, the toilets were also higher and there was a roll in shower. These were not ideal, but we were only here for one night so it didn't bother us too much. Water pressure from the bathroom sink was not very good so we just used the tap in the kitchen instead. There is no on site restaurant here but since you do have an in suite kitchenette, you can drive to one of the local grocery stores for supplies if you tend to eat at odd times. If I'm in the southern part of the greater Seattle area, I would definitely stay here again as this hotel suited all of our needs at a reasonable price.

Drive to the Southcenter mall area. Lots of places to eat there. If you have kids with you, Family Fun Center is also nearby and just north of Southcenter mall.

stay at the larkspur

The Larkspur Landing provides excellent lodging. It is not a hotel - extended stay, but apart from having a kitchenette in the room, you can't tell. Great staff. I slept really well, the morning was confused that I was not home. Highly recommended. There was a nice wine/beer/pizza even on Wednesday night that I almost missed. Watch for it. And - good cookies in the evening.

Okay for an overnight stay near Seatac

In general, Larkspur was good value for money. Rooms were huge for the price we paid but two things left me slightly disappointed. It was advertised that there was complimentary hotel shuttle from Seatac but when we arrived at Seatac at 10pm at night, we were told that it stopped at 10pm. This could have made clear in the hotel description at the time of booking. Secondly, breakfast options were rather limited.

Excellent in All Aspects

We chose this hotel for our vacation in Seattle based on the solid reviews. There were less expensive options (which I would usually choose), but the reviews did not speak highly of the other hotels. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfy (central A/C thermostat), and the continental breakfast was much better than the usual. Overall, fantastic experience that we'd recommend.
