AWFUL
I don't know who gave this hotel a 3 star rating. The location is good and the staff was average as far as the hotel it was not good. A 1960"s Howard Johnson hotel is a 5 star compared to this. I stayed there 2 nights and then moved to another hotel. Old style blinds on the windows a light right outside the door a 20 year old bed and they do not even clean the rooms everyday. Stay away from this hotel.

Overcharged me!!
The is a slum. I would never have stayed here if i say the room before I paid. To add to the insult of staying in a dump. Or___ charge as $102.17 (total). The regular price at the front desk was $76.64. I feel ripped off.

This is No 3-Star motel!
I can only reference our own room and the common areas. Out room wasn't even of a 1-star quality. It looked like carpeted car mats had been stapled up for headboards--really! The carpet was very old and torn and there was a terrible odor in the room. The windows only had Venetian blinds and people from outside could see in even when closed--we had to put up some of the bedding to block. The swimming pool area wasn't at all like in the picture! It was dingy and dirty and I refused to use--looked like it was in someone's basement. On the positive side, the staff at the front desk was great!

Look Elsewhere for a Hotel in Ocean Shores!
This was the worst hotel experience I have had in the last 30 years! Supposedly they were all booked up and we reserved one of the last rooms on a Sunday...yeah, right...there was maybe two people there. The website makes it look like the hotel is RIGHT on the ocean...absolutely not! The room had a closet with no hangers, a queen bed, a nightstand with a lamp and clock radio, an outdated TV on a cabinet and a Keurig on top of a microwave that was on top of the mini fridge, plus a bathroom. It wasn't totally clean which was the worst thing. There was no phone and no fire alarm or sprinkler system in the room...can that be legal? The cleaning staff outside were mainly sitting around talking and smoking which made it unpleasant for a non-smoker in a non-smoking room every time I opened the door or a window. After experiencing what I did in the room I didn't even attempt to swim in the indoor pool as I was afraid I might catch something. This place totally sucked and I'm sorry we even spent one dime on the place. Never again! It needs to be bull-dozed!

It was alright
Anyone can smoke outside the rooms in the courtyard. The smoke will find it's way into your window. A screaming child opened her door after 10pm. Hotel room was not dirty by any means, but lacked warmth. And if your drapes are open, anyone can look in from the courtyard. Very eery/lonely neighborhood at night.

IT WAS QUITE INSIDE UPDATED AND CLEAN PLENTY OF TOWELS, SOAP, SHAMPOO. THE INDOOR POOL WAS GREAT DIDN'T WANT TO GET OUT. THE KIDS KEEP SAYING WHEN CAN WE GO BACK. THIS IS DEFINITELY OUR NEW GO TO PLACE. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT STAY:)

Hotel review
Very noisy at night, parking bad. I don't plan to go to that hotel again and I let my family and friends know it would not be a good place to stay...! I go every year at least twice, so now I know not Ocean shores Inn and suites. . Sincerely, KIM

blues boy
No beach view
We were hoping we'd at least be able to see the beach, or not have to walk too far to get there. Wrong! I got a headache every time we turned the heat on. Room was very stuffy (closed in). It was nice having a small kitchen. The room size was fine, the bed was large, but we looked out at a courtyard completely removed from the ocean. We could have been anywhere.
