The hotel needs refurbished inside. Looks great on the outside. Won't stay there again

We weren't in the hotel all that much, but it was comfy and big enough to move around in. The staff there was so helpful and we were within walking distance from the ocean, grocery stores, resturants, pizza parlors, and gift shops. It was a good experience for me and my sister.

The overall stay was OK, but there were a couple of things wrong: - One of the outlets was not working properly; the top plugin was not working at all, but the bottom one was. - We used the AC, but it was LOUD!! Other than that, the Hotel itself was good -- Especially the breakfast!!! THAT was good!! I love waffles! The bacon tasted really plain, though.

Had great view of the ocean from the 3rd floor. Sitting room was very comfortable, some playing games at the table while others read or watched TV. I was really nice to have a seperate sitting area from the "bedroom". Great to have microwave and refrigerator in the room as well. The beds were quite nice. After spending the day at the beach we came home to swim in the indoor pool and relax in the hottub. Only downfall for me was in in bathroom jaccuzi tub. Not really deep enough to actually sit and relax.

Beach access was right in front of the hotel. Nice location, walking distance to stores just across street, and IGA (in-town grocery store). Offers a fairly nice hot breakfast,with plenty of seating. Hotel staff was friendly. Indoor pool and hot tub were a big hit with the kids. Was a little disappointed with room size - thought a "2 queen junior suite" would be bigger.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. However, the room smelled badly. We had to open the window for the whole night and still smelled badly.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly, we were able to get into our room 2 hours before check in. The pool is small but perfect for young kids 2-5 ft from end to end and open until 11 pm. Cont breakfast was a large spread surprising, but a long wait at peak morning hours. Decent view if the weather had been better, I have lived in western WA all my life and I swear we get better weather on the coast in the winter for clam digging then we do in the summer months. Dugans pizza across the street is great. Cafe Amichi is always my favorite place to eat in Ocean Shores good coffe and chai tea and great food. They serve breakfast all day and have lunch menu and serve dinner Friday and Saturday nights. Have yet to every have a bad meal I recommend the breakfast burrito.

We did a lot of local shopping and spent time at the beach. Mariah's is an excellent especially if you are looking for seafood,also Emily's.I can't think of a thing that would have made our trip more enjoyable. It was as nice as other tripss that we have taken.

My husband and I needed a get away and decided to go to Ocean Shores for the weekend. We have had visited several months ago and stayed at the Shilo, in which we were very impressed. When we booked the room at Shilo we used [...]and it was still quite pricey. Decided to go a bit cheaper, had no idea our experience would reach such a low. Television channel were not viewable. We kept getting stay tune satellite unavailable. The water wasn't hot. The manager was training a new person and allowing them to handle the business alone, it was clear that this person wasn't ready. She tired charging my credit card again and I explained that it had already been charged. Manager said the problem was correct; but received a bill underneath the door day of departure. I had to go and clear up the accounting prior to leaving. A big hassle when you are ready to hit the road. Very poor customer service compared to Shilo. I won't stay at this property in the future.
