arrived at the hotel and the staff was friendly and prompt getting us checked in. We were surprised when they up graded us to ocean view, The breakfast was good and the rooms clean and inviting. I plan on staying there again when in the area.

Perfect except for the breakfast
Perfect in every way except for the hot breakfast. Ran out of scrambled eggs and sausage and watied over 30 minutes for the eggs and never did get the sausage. Just do not know how you can not gauge this better. Otherwise, was a 5 star experience.

Arnies nearby was fantastic. Was seated Immediately in the lounge with full dinner menu instead of waiting 30 minutes in the dining room.

Good location when there's good weather
Right next to the ferry and an Ivar's restaurant. If you are there for sightseeing, ask for a view of the water.

Birthday Present - Scheduled Peaceful Night
A scheduled peaceful night in Mukilteo, from Everett. We had a waterfront king suite that looked out on the ferry dock. The room was clean and spacious and nicely furnished, with a wet bar, frig, microwave and sink, which was nice for us to bring our own food Because there weren't many restaurants around The Silver Cloud hotel. The ones around the hotel are VERY costly. I was so surprised that there was NO DVR's in the rooms. Their channel selection was bad and 4 of the channels were stuck and we had to watch the VP debate all night. Plus, we had to keep the doors open to the room, so that we could have the fireplace on all night. The staff was ok except this one girl couldn't answer any of my questions. Then when we asked for an extra blanket it took two hours to get it. would have been nice to have hot coffee for us, but there was none. I know it sounds like I'm upset, but I have to say that I know i was paying for the view, fireplace & TV. But I've paid $84 for a room that had more towels, shampoo & a DVR in the room with 24 hour hot coffee and it was a 2.5 star hotel. But overall it was a nice birthday present for my boy friend.

Great location
We loved this location. Easy drive to Seattle for the day but a great value for not having to pay for parking and getting a away from the city atmosphere. People were friendly too as we have 3 kids under 4. They were accomodating and very nice. Will stay again when visiting my brother who lives in Edmonds.

Love it
This is the second time we stayed at the Silver Cloud. Beautiful location, very nice rooms and the breakfast to die for. The only complaint I have was the sofa bed in the King Suite. It is very uncomfortable to sleep on. Otherwise we love it and looking forward to going there again.

AWESOME
It was SO relaxing for me, and worth my money! the jacuzzi was very roomy and relaxing, with a great veiw of the water..very relaxing and quiet except hearing the waterfall thru the walls from upstairs..Will plan on going back again...

Fantastic scenic locale
we had a Great stay. Hotel staff was awesome, only to be "outdone" by the beautiful location on the Sound. Lots to do in the area too. We will return!!

relaxing and romantic watching the ferries
We were thrilled to have a suite right over the water with a bay window looking out to sea. The birds flew right past our window. It was like being on a cruise ship without the waves.

Just a few steps out the door is a great Seattle tradition "Ivers" fort fish. They have a walk up and take away or a sit down. I just used the walk up and took my lunch back to my fireplace and view of the sea.
