The Days Inn Mt. Vernon is located in the Skagit Valley and is surrounded by the Cascade Mountains on the east and the Olympic Mountains on the west. We are located 50 miles from the Canadian border. The area is noted as the Home of the annual International Tulip Festival, which runs during the month of April. We are 64 miles from Mount Baker and just 15 miles from the Anacortes Ferry, which provides daily service to Canada and San Juan Island. There are many golf courses and 3 great Casinos within a 10 mile radius. Mall and outlet shopping within 2 miles. Many shops and restaurants with in walking distance. The on-premise Patron Mexican Restaurant has a bar and is opened for lunch and dinner. Banquet and meeting rooms are available, and a seasonal outdoor pool and a huge parking area for RV or truck parking. 30 miles to scenic Deception Pass Park with bridge across the Puget Sound to Whidbey Island. Pets are permitted with a fee of 20.00 USD per night.

We needed a place to stay for the night, didn't want to drive all the way home.
The room was clean, the place was quite.
The hotel is an older place. But adequate. Breakfast was a bit skimpy. But then again, we wanted to sleep, not eat. BTW, the
Mexican restaurant that is attached is EXCELLENT!!
Finding the place heading North was tricky. The sign is behind a tree...we ended up finding in once we turned around.
My fiancé and I came to this hotel after a long trip to rest and grab food. We were sick of sitting in the car. We arrived and the front desk was okay. We had a non smoking room and it smelled like ciggs. We only were staying to take a nap and
shop around. So when we checked out at 8pm the front desk lady gave us a disgusted look. I'm assuming she thought we used the room to shack up. Won't be staying here again.
For a bare bones price (at least here in Washington where everything is expensive) it is exactly what ya need. Nothing fancy, room to tv to bathroom were all working but you get what you pay for, but the staff was great; from the main desk to the
cleaners were all very nice and helpful. Would def stay here again.
