BEST WESTERN Alderwood

Great easy in and out to I-5. Rooms and location is quiet. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.

Was great until the morning when we were felt like we were rushed out the door because of a leak in the room. Also recommend leaving the pool open later at night.

Pets are not allowed. I would have used the pool and hot tub, but they were outside and closed. I did not recieve any reduction in the hotel's normal rates by going through this online service. So I could have just as well, booked this directly with the facility. Therefore, I did not use this system for my next hotel booking.

The hotel was really nice and the staff was very friendly, clean rooms and comfy beds. Unfortunately we were under some very loud people (probably with kids) It was really close to the Alderwood mall and some really nice restaurants like the Olive Garden. The only problem was that when I checked my bank account the next day they charged me an extra $25 for no reason

Seafair weekend is a busy weekend in Seattle so we were happy to find the best Western in Alderwood had vacancies. As we booked it we saw that the price went up from the advertized [...] price. We decided to take it anyway but I think they should plan ahead better and not advertize a price and not honor it. Our first room had been well cleaned in fact the carpet was still damp and there was a very strong odor of cleaner in the room. We opened the window and tried to air it out but it was giving us a headache so I asked for a room change and the first receptionist said they were full and couldn't offer me another room but the other receptionist said "give them the jacuzzi room". So we were upgraded for our stay. I don't believe the first receptionist would have done that for us but we were grateful for the second one. It should be policy that if a booked room is unusable another room even if it is and upgrade is offered. It was a fairly cool day and the pool was outside and so we did not go down to use it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, had a good continental breakfast and felt the location and price were good.

We shopped at the great mall that was located down the street.

The Best Western Lynwood is very well located for our purposes. We live in a rural area approximately 2 hours and one ferry ride from Seattle. We go to Seattle when we have some heavy shopping to do. We can find all the stores we are looking for very close to the hotel. At one time when the location transitioned from a Silver Cloud to a Best Western, it appeared that the hotel was declining in quality. Now, however, this trend seem to have been reversed. The continental breakfast is above average both it terms of the food and the dining facility. Usually there is no problem in getting a table and feeling comfortable in relaxing over the morning paper. Some people might find the swimming pool and hot tub situation inadequate. Both are outside. The hot tub is nice in warm weather, but this is Seattle and the pool seldom gets warm.

The Best Western Alderwood was a nice hotel for the price. They offer a nice continental breakfast and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I liked the location being so close to the Alderwood mall and lots of dining choses too.
