Impromptu getaway

The hotel was great, right in the middle of town. We ended up getting stuck in traffic on the way there, so we called and the front desk staff made arrangements for us to get the room key even after the office had already closed. Top notch service!

Icicle Creek hiking getaway

Very good location in the heart of Leavenworth on a very quiet street 2 blocks away from HWY 2. Very clean, great water pressure, and the most important for a hiker....the hot tub was working. Staff working the check counter were complete opposites. The woman was very direct, serious, with no attempt to engage in chit-chat of any kind. The man was extremely friendly in a very engaging way, and expressed sincere concern about every question we asked.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Mexican restaurants. There are two Mexican restaurants within 1 block walk. "South" which is very easy to see on a main street (and probably gets the most tourists because of its visabily, and Los Camperos which I had to walk down an alley to get to. It was fantastic! I could have sat there an only chips and the very chunky/vegetable salsa they served free. But also ordered a tostada and it was great also.

I am very glad we stayed there

Good location for walking to all the cute stores. Great location for walking along the water. There is a wonderful walking trail that was created by Eagle Scouts. Wonderful breakfast, a huge variety of fresh cut up fruit, cereals, & juices to choose from.

Expected less, this was great

The photos on O led me to think this hotel was right on the main (Front) street, but this turned out to be far preferable. The staff was highly courteous and informative, the room left nothing to complain about. No tiny gross detail to bumm us out. Extremely clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was a shock. They have one of those waffle irons but their toppings etc. were over the top: they not only had one of those professional stainless whipped cream bottles with the nitrous oxide cartridge, they had fresh strawberries, blueberries, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, coconut, slivered almonds, flax, on and on and on. We were bummed to have overlooked the hot tub on the second floor until just as we were checking out. There was also an inviting outdoor area near it, and everything was neat and clean. Recommended!
