Self-park across the street at the library. Walk to Lake Washington, the beach park, and around a walkable downtown, including great restaurants and a bakery across the street.

Pleasant experience

Discover the trendy new downtown Kirkland, just steps from the beach and close to wonderful restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet with a sunny balcony and a view overlooking a popular sidewalk. Downtown Kirkland has been redesigned to be pedestrian friendly. Friday night, everyone was out enjoying the many cafes and restaurants. Saturday, pedestrians were everywhere. In spite of the activity and the nearby retirement community, not a single siren marred the pleasant and quiet neighborhood. The room was spotless and bedding included a down blanket. Free wi-fi was excellent. The only hitch was that there is no longer self-parking, and if you need to retrieve things from your car, you must call the valets every time. Most hotels have the option to self-park or valet park, but this hotel requires the use of the valets, for no apparent reason other than to pad the bill.

Best Boutique Hotel experience!

We arrived at the Heathman Hotel in Kirkland on Thursday, 08/18. From the moment you arrive, the Bellman, the Concierge and the Front Desk attendants are friendly, professional and courteous. They know the area well and are happy to assist with anything you need. Rooms were very clean and beds were Tempurpedic! Sheets were amazing and bath products were top notch. Housekeeping staff are wonderful and quite attentive without being intrusive. Loved the electronic pad on the door to notify staff to clean room or Do Not Disturb! They just seemed to "know" when to turn down our beds in the evening. Trellis Restaurant has wonderful food, as many of the locals come there to eat and people-watch from their sidewalk dining. The location is excellent. You can walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, salons and waterfront. Easy access to highways leading to Seattle and points of interest. Clean, quiet street although it is a major thoroughfare. Rooms are very quiet. Only noise we heard were the sounds of the trash truck on Monday morning but they moved on quickly. The only improvement I would make to this fabulous hotel is that I would add a mirror to the sliding "barn door" of the bathroom that is currently frosted. An additional mirror would be great as the only full length mirror is located in the bathroom and that is chopped in half due to the wall shelf. Keith, (front desk) Jerry, (concierge) and Ed, (courtesy van driver) are the best to be found! We loved every moment there and we will definitely be back!

Try Anthony's for seafood, French Bakery across the street for a quick morning bite on the run and Hector's around the corner for great lunch menu. Trellis on sight is great for late night drinks with mussels or flatbread.

Heathman Hotel

Excellent hotel in a great location. Fantastic bathroom, especially the shower. Great restaurant. Free shuttle service within 10 miles was an added bonus. Only issue encountered was a bit of construction noise one morning, for which the hotel offered to buy us breakfast.

Fantastic hotel!

The hotel is wonderful - beautifully designed, perfectly clean, spacious rooms, courteous staff and great location. You can't do better, and the price was too good to believe! Lived up to expectations.

The Heathman is located in the heart of Kirkland and many places are within walking distance. At The Heathman service was friendly and efficient, amenities were lovely. We stopped into Trellis for dessert and a cocktail. It was exquisite. The Lemon-Sage Flan was right up my alley and did not disappoint. The only regret was our stay was too short.

There are wonderful dining experiences a stones throw away. Cafe Rococo for coffee. Lucia's for lunch or dinner and Purple is a fantastic wine bar and restaurant.

Outstanding Service! Great Hotel

My wife and I spent the weekend before Valentines Day at The Heathman in Kirkland. The problem of having to travel to visit relatives during a special weekend was easily overcome by the excellent staff at the hotel. I had a few ideas to make the trip special and they could not have been more helpful. The rooms are immaculate and all amenities are first rate. Highly recommended

A Gem!

Great location in the heart of quaint Kirkland within easy walking distance to boutique shops, restaurants and cafes. Interior had wonderful added touches like fresh flowers and apples to enjoy. The front staff were very accomodating and welcoming to us as we were traveling with our dog. Hotel bathroom was like being in your own spa - fantastic shower and plenty of luxury towels and soaps!
