Extended Stay America Seattle - Kent

Simple hotel. I see some complaints about lack of amenities. That is not the intention with this place. It is meant to be a place to stay not a full service hotel. Rooms are nice & clean, staff is friendly. The place is a bit creepy though.

The bed was not changed with clean sheets - hairs and dirt all over the cover. When reported to the front desk, instead of giving me a different room, they gave me a clean set of sheets to put on the bed myself. The clean sheets had holes in them. Other faults: - broken TV. - no internet, no note pads or pens on desk. - no shampoo or lotion. - no hair dryer. - shower curtain did not fit bath. - very small scratchy towels. Couldn't leave fast enough!

We tried to change rooms because the shower did not work and pieces broken off. The staff sent up a maintence guy. This hotel provides the bare minimum. Old worn out beds, towels that feel like sand paper, torn carpet, broken doorbell for hearing impared room, dirty bed spreads, kitchenette had 2 cups, a pot and a pan.

I traveled with my show dog and they were understanding of my needs. They made both me and my dog feel right at home.

In town for family funeral. Did not spend a lot of time in room, but comfortable for two people. Kitchen was great -- allowed us to have breakfast in our room and thus save dining out expenses. Ironing board and iron a plus.

We were house hunting. Last year stayed at the extended stay in Renton. They had coffee continental breakfast each am in the lobby. They gave us clean towels each day. The changed the bed once as explained. This hotel did not change it on the day designated and I had to call to have it done. Unfortunately, there were jumpers above us and we thought the ceiling was coming down. Kitchen facilities were nice. If you wanted a hair drier I had to wait until one was returned to the office. Kitchen facilities were there with one fork and spoon. Beds were hard and not as confortable as Renton. We would not stay there again.

We had a smooth check-in at the Extended Stay in Kent,Washington. Our room was pretty clean,except that the bathroom floor could/should have been mopped cleaner.The staff was very helpful;i requested extra towels & wash cloths,blanket,pillows & dish soap upon checking in & they were very accomodating.The hotel was right off the interstate(easy on & off) but, was surprisingly quiet!We never heard any highway noise during our full week stay.There were several places to eat nearby,such as Dennys.We did a lot of sight seeing & found the location pretty well centrally located.We would recommend this hotel.

Only stayed one night. The hotel was okay, but nothing special. There is internet service in the rooms but you have to pay for it ($4.99+tax). There is no ice machine at the hotel and maid service forgot to fill up the ice trays in the refrigerator freezer. I ended up having to leave the hotel at 10:00 at night to buy a bag of ice. Didn't use the kitchen but there didn't seem to be enough dishes and utensils for even two people. Hotel was a ways south of the airport, further away from Seattle. It was kind of hard to find. There are no liquor stores in the area (or the staff just doesn't know where they are).
