Didnt Meet Expectations!
The hotel was touted as the best in the Tri-Cities. However the decor was from the late 1980's the staff was rude and it smelled "moist".

Clover Island Inn
This hotel allows pets. The people in the room next to us had a very yappy little dog. It would not have been a problem except they left the dog in the room alone while they went to breakfast at 6:15 a.m. The dog didn't stop barking for 45 minutes. We did not really want a 6:15 Saturday morning wake up call but got one anyway thanks to the dog. We asked to be moved to another room if they were going to be there the next night like we were, so we did get another room. I think if the hotel is going to allow pets, they should have those rooms all in one area, so they distrub as few other guest as possible.

Very nice location. Friendly staff.
Our first nights sleep was interupted at 1:00 am by noise from the room above us. It was the staff setting up the next days banquet room. The staff moved us the next day. Room have great views of the river but need upgrading. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant is nice and comfortable with a wonderful view.

Overrated
An average hotel, but not nearly as good a value of the new ones, in better locations in Kennewick. I'm sorry we booked online, one look at this place would have made me go elsewhere. Breakfast was good, probably better than average. Room was small, hot, musty, ex-smoking, noisy from trains.
