Penny Pincher from the Midwest
GROSS!
The only positive things I have to say about this hotel were the quality of service provided by the desk, the appearance of the hotel and room and the politeness of the staff. Our room had a funny odor, we were instructed by a maid to take our trash to the dumpster ourselves, some of our personal belongings disappeared from the room while we were gone and in the middle of our stay we discovered the carpeting was infested with fleas. In addition, the bathroom fan wasn't working.

The Skippers restaurant near by had really great food at a good value. And clam chowder on par with Ivar's.

Listen, the experience was fine. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. I wish the maid service would have come AFTER the 12:00 checkout time, rather than wake me up every morning at 10:00, followed by ignoring my yelling, "NO THANK YOU". The place is in a bad location so you run the risk of getting your car broken into. But I, personally, didn't have any problems with crime of any sort. Overall, it is what I would expect from a room of that price range. Don't expect ANYthing extra. Not even a notepad or complimentary pen. As my friend used to say, "Not Bad, Not Rad"

Denny's is pretty much in the same parking lot. It is a stone's throw away. Also, next door, is an Albertson's and McDonalds. And last, it is right next to the freeway (Which, can be a good/bad thing)

Great place to stay...
Space Needle, China Town, Naval Base, Tulapai Casino, Boeing Tour, Future of Flight, nephew's wedding.

cheap and convenient for travelers
This Motel 6 is a consideration because of its location right off I5 and low cost (as compared to the higher price of hotels in the greater Seattle area). Also, right beside the hotel are several restaurants both fast food and sit down. The Dennys in front of this hotel has free wi-fi connection as opposed to a charge for connection to the Motel 6 wi-fi. Bottom line - acceptable and cheap for travelers. Would not select this hotel if I were planning to stay in the area with wife and family for vacation due to lack of amenities and basic hotel room set up.
