Days Inn Everett

Pretty straightforward at check in. Went to the room and was better than I expected as I had never stayed at a Days Inn previously. The television needs to be updated, as did the bathroom. However, all in all not a bad experience at this Days Inn.

We were very tired when we arrived at The Days Inn after a long day of flying in to Washington. We had never been there and thought everything was so nice. We checked found a clean nice room except for the smoke smell- even though it was a non-smoking room. We got a good nights sleep but woke up congested with headaches from the smell. The front desk helped us with no problem to move to a different room-it did have some smoke smell to the room. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The lighting and baths were prefect. Beds were very comfortable. The location of perfect for our visit. The next door men were out smoking and up all night with people coming and going. A dog barked several times. I think they slept durning the day and partyied all night long. Their smoke came in our air conditioner.

Our room at the Day's Inn was attractive, clean and had all that was needed. Was able to hear people stomping overhead and the plumbing was loud. However, the staff was friendly and recommended a nice restaurant and shops within walking distance. The Tacoma Mall is within walking distance and access to freeway was easy.

The hotel was having worked done to it so you could smell paint and there was old furniture stored outside the rooms. Our room was near a set of stairs and bushes which had garbage and an old broken TV in them (both which was never thrown away the 6 nights we stayed there). The internet service kept going out in the rooms and I had to call and explain to various people that the router needed to be reset. The towels were hard and very thin, you had to use 2 to dry off. The cleaning service did the bare miminum, basically just restock the hard/thin towels and made the bed. The location was near the highway so it was a good location about 20 miles outside of Seattle and it was across the street from a grocery store, mall and fast food places. I wouldn't stay there again, it served it purpose if you stopped late at night and left early in the morning. I wouldn't suggest it for a long stay just a quick night layover.

The Best Western was one of the most resonable priced rooms that you can kind that close to Seattle. There was a heated pool, which my kids loved and a very nice continental breakfast. The room was a bit of a tight squeeze, the table and chairs were really close to the beds. Oh, and we were unable to hook up our game player to the t.v. But I would definetely return and stay again!

our stay at this hotel was disappointing - the atmosphere and clientele left much to be desired. the room was small with too much furniture crammed in. the building is noisy (guests upstairs paced the room all night - craky floor!!!) would not return to this hotel ever
