The resort has done a much better job with educating the front desk in portraying a positive attitude, which in the past we often found rude. A big plus was getting in at 1:00PM rather than holding our unit 4:00, which was typical of our past stays at the hotel.

More fun for your money
Suncadia provides a great winter experience for families. There is a tubing hill with rope tow on the resort premises that you can purchase rides on, or you can bring your own tubes and sleds and create your own runs off a big hill nearby for free. Compared to paying for tubing at Snoqualmie Pass for a family, plus the cost of the required SnoPark parking pass, you save $$ doing it for free at Suncadia. Suncadia also has lots of XC skiing on its grounds. Your room price also includes access to their big indoor gym, pool and 2 theme-park quality water slides. Oh, there's also an ice rink on the grounds, additional cost to use but reasonable. If you add up everything you get, on top of a nice room in a beautiful lodge, it's a great deal for the price. Plus it's only 90 minutes door to door from Seattle (30 minutes from the top of the pass).

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
The indoor pool and gym with water slides is a great way to have family fun, all included in the room price. Exercise machines overlook the pool so parents can work out and keep an eye on the children in the pool below.
