Rodeway Inn Bellingham

I stayed for 2 nights and was very happy with the cleanliness and location. Cons were the noise from I-5 and the shower from the floor above. Since the breakfast was complimentary, I did not expect it to be deluxe but it could have offered a bit more choice.

You can stay here if you like the price but kinda rude front desk not friendly at all they seem depressed.

The room was ok, but dirty carpet, walls, floor corners filthy, was upgraded refurbished room but paid extra for the same and it felt dirty.

not bad but toooo over priced. look for cheaper but no deal.

You get what you pay for at this little inn off of the highway. We weren't expecting much and weren't disappointed or thrilled. It was a place to sleep, shower and watch some TV. The walls seemed thin and you could hear everything, but other than that if we were traveling on a budget I would stay here again.

When we arrived it seemed that our on-line booked reservation was made under a person of the same name, but a different residential address! Very weird situation, but the staff were friendly and resolved the issue with the assistance of the head manager/owner. Conveniently located next to a bar/card room, so we had fun all night long. The room was comfy and the wireless fast.

Came to town for my niece's wedding. After checking in, I carried my bags and my wife's bags to the second floor, but found wet towels on the bathroom floor, the bed unmade, etc. I called the front desk and got no answer. Waited a minute and called again. Still no answer, so I left the bags and went back down to the front desk. The gal finished her cell phone conversation to help me, apologized about the uncleaned room, and gave me another on the third floor. So I went back to the 2nd floor and carried the bags up to the 3rd floor, where I found the room clean, but without any towels. I went back down to the front desk to return the first room's key and mentioned the missing towels. Later, after unpacking and relaxing on the 3rd floor, the door opened and the maid entered with towels. Didn't even knock. Advertised as having free WiFi, I tried to log in and was asked for a passcode. I couldn't find it on any of the room's literature or on my door key's jacket. I called the front desk, and guess what? no answer. I went downstairs again and was told the super secret passcode, which I had to enter several times during the course of our stay to access teh barely-usable wifii. That night I was awake until 11:30pm as the people next door blasted their TV, which was about 4 feet from the head of our bed, behind a paper-thin wall.

I would probably not recommend this hotel. Two reasons: 1. Noisy - from adjoining rooms. I could hear conversations, not just loud talking. I had to ask the people next door to turn their TV door at 6:00am. I have never had this issue anywhere else I've stayed before. 2. Their "continental breakfast" was pedestrian at best. I think the OJ was Tang or it's equivalent. The Costco muffins were the best item on the counter and at least they were reasonably fresh. I'm sorry, I really wanted it to work out, I will spend the extra $20-30 next time I need a room in Bellingham.

Great location for us, great price, but a little worn down. Clean and comfortable. Blankets a little worn and toilet seat needed replacing. Staff excellent. Didn't have the breakfast, slept in. NO BED BUGS IN OUR ROOM. A good place to stay but don't expect too much.

The staff was nice and polite, but the room was so stinky I could not sleep. When I tried to change rooms they told me they had no other rooms available. I ended up sleeping in the car in the parking lot..
