Good location for the price
In Bellingham for business and it was close to my business meetings. Staff was friendly.

Welcome rest
We arrived at midnight and were well received. The keys to our car had been left at the front desk and were given to us as we checked in. The room was clean and the shower water was hot.

Nice and convenient
The reservation was handled and no problems on our arrival. However we were not offered any senior discount "online" and when we got there the staff was not able to give us any break on the cost. This should be available "online" or at arrival, if it applies as in our case.

Peaceful
Some rooms adjacent to freeway
I came by myself for an important appointment the next day. My room was in the far building next to the freeway. My internet connection was weak. The freeway was noisy. I didn't get much sleep.

Bellingham trip
We arrived late at the hotel. 4:00AM to be more precise. The late arrival was caused by airline delays in SFO to Seattle. And our reserved room in Bellingham WA was canceled as a "NO Show" despite the fact that I did call ahead. When the hotel staff member said "No problem" without taking the time to check on her computer for even my name. I took that to mean "no problem". The night clerk had a different reply. Fortunetly the motel was not full and we were able to get a room but only for that day. We had to re-register later that morning for the remaining three days of our visit. I don't travel that often and was put out by being bumped from a reservation at the hotel

Decent place
we were just one night, room and hotel were clean, ammenities were sufficeint, staff wss friendly. Continental breakfast could have gone on longer. We would stay there again, good value for $$$

Smoked out
My biggest complaint is that I asked for a non-smoking room and they stuck me with a smoking room. It hadn't been used for a while, but when I got home everything in my suitcase smelled like old smoke. I got used to it in the room, but it did bother me. They didn't have another non-smoking room left with two queen beds and if the price weren't such a bargin I would have left, but I needed a cheap place to lay my head for the night. The staff were friendly and it was quiet and the room clean.
