Baymont Inn and Suites Bellingham

Cleanliness is my no. 1 priority at a hotel and this hotel was clean! The front desk staff (Cassandra) was wonderful and immediately met our needs for a crib and change of room due to a minor problem. As a matter of fact, she brought the new room key right to us and moved us next door. Continental breakfast was fine. Yes, room, esp. bathroom was a bit dated but who cares? I noticed they had changed their TVs to flat screen ones and I have no doubt that they are updating as money permits. Bed was comfy and it was nice to have a comforter instead of standard hotel blankets. Oh yes, very close to Bellis Fair.

Friendly staff. Excellent continental breakfast. Loved the white towels.

Good hotel. Only poor breakfast, and was taken away earlier then 10:00 as advertised.

Stayed there for 2 nites to visit my girlfriend! Walking distance from restaurants, gym, mall, walmart, etc... Which is good! However the hotel staff isnt friendly at all. Its as if they were depressed to work there! Continental breakfast is good if u only eat cereal. Over all experience is 4 out of 10

We rolled in to the Baymont following a fantastic ride around the East of Whatcom County. The staff was accommodating of us and our bikes, allowing us to secure them in our room. Next stay, I'll bring my swimsuit and use the hot tub.

Allowed our two dogs with no pet fees! Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice indoor hot tub. Good value.

First off, the hotel was in the process of changing names and no longer had signs saying La Quinta so it was difficult to find. Our room smelled of stale smoke - so did the hallways and all other common locations. There were dirty towels still hanging in our shower. On the plus... it was quiet and affordable with an adequate breakfast. Probably won't stay again though.

This was a quick business trip, for that the hotel served it's purpose fine. Good value for the cost compared to others around, although nothing fancy.

Checked in after a long tiring drive up I-5 and were happy to pull off for the night. I had booked in advance and we got a room on the second floor. The rooms with 2 beds do have a mini fridge and microwave, so that was unexpected and nice. We asked where the front-desk person recommended for dinner and he said "The Olive Garden across the street." That sounded fine so I said we'd probably walk over there. Well, after dinner we came back to a different front-desk person and he was handing another couple walking in a discount card to Olive Garden... would've been nice to get one of those from the other guy Before our over-priced mediocre meal! The room itself was clean and aside from the stadium-bright light in the parking lot outside our window, it was a good spot- thanks goodness for curtains! The breakfast was good- waffle-making station, toast, muffins, cereal, etc. Would've been able to eat faster if there hadn't been an entire girl's basketball troupe trying to eat at the same time. The hotel was in good condition, including breakfast was nice, and we got a decent night sleep. I would stay here again. (And remember to pack a swim suit for the indoor hot tub!)

I've been to Bellingham several times over the last 15 years. I usually try a different hotel every time I'm there. The La Quinta wasnt too impressive in my book. The walls were paper thin so all night we heard the ice machine and the vending machines being used. Some lady had her dog there and was chasing it up and down the hall at 3am. Oh and lets not forget the guy upstairs above us going to the bathroom every hour. It wasnt the toilet fluching that woke us up if you catch my drift. It was just a noisy hotel. And the gallon jug of milk was warm at breeakfast. I wouldnt stay there again.
