Homestead Seattle - Redmond

I reserved a non-smoking room, but was put in a smoking room. There were ashes in the bathroom, no phone cord for the phone, white something on the sheets, and an incredibly horrible smell. I spoke with one person that said they were booked but would talk to the manager. The manager came over, looked at the room, apologized profusely and changed rooms. The next room was non smoking and clean. I would stay here again.

friendly staff, clean and well maintained. comfortable bed especially if you like firm mattresses which I do. The pillows could have been a little firmer also. Would definately stay again and recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The staff was friendly and apologetic for the room condition. There were bugs coming out of the wall in the bathroom, all over the tub, in the kitchenette, on the bed, counters, night stand, and flying around. The bed was soooo uncomfortable I felt like Fred Flintstone sleeping on a slab of rock. Avoid this place if possible.

Close and convenient. Nice kitchenette even though we didn't use it.

Found these suites as a last minute search for my parents' visit to town. Host was not very kind during checking. We were given a 2nd floor room (no elevators) and I asked her if she could give us a 1st floor room instead because my dad had an injured knee. Answered curtly that there were no rooms and that they were full. When my mother thanked the host for her help she just replied 'uhuh'. This is a big nono for anyone who works in the services industry. Room smelled strongly of curry. I love curry, but not in a room where people are supposed to sleep. I guess the convenience of a studio room (with a kitchen) can create these kinds of situations but there are ways to make sure the smell doesn't get impregnated in the room.

small, hard bed, very thin walls. Very small selection of tv channels.

Quick and easy check-in. No hassles. No frills, but that was reflected in the price.

Maybe I should have checked it out better, but as soon as I saw the room I wanted to change hotels. Unfortunately once you check in, with Orbitz you are stuck... in my case, for five nights. This hotel is definitely for the budget long-term stay person who doesn't mind making their own beds or going down to the office to pick up packs of coffee. If you are a business traveler used to a norml hotel experience (maid service, restaurant, fitness center), this is not the place for you. And to call these rooms "suites" is a stretch - I've had much larger rooms than this "suite". It's basically a small hotel room with a kitchenette crammed in for good measure.

This is a very nice hotel just what we were looking for on our business trip. I never sleep in hotels and for the first time I actually slept the whole night thru. Great people, nice quiet neighborhood and clean rooms. Will stay again for sure.

I stayed there for a day actually and was satisfied with the room cleanliness etc . The location was good and the price for that location was nice . Although didnt use the kitchen much but for people who have a lenghty stay , the kitchen facilities ( pans plates , ladels) etc will be of great help .
