The bed was not very soft, strange plastic-like sheet underneath the sheets, thin, typical sheet/blankets, no pillow-top mattresses in regular rooms, shower was ok but low water pressure, hotel located near freeway, train track and smaller airport, some road and train noise and was placed in a room with a dividing door into another room and heard everything going on in there (thank goodness for ear plugs), and was not able to be moved unitl the next day, could have been moved to a slightly larger and slightly more expensive room but they would not upgrade me for free despite my discomfort there. Very ordinary and not truly a place that I would stay at again, but ok for the airfare/car/hotel package deal I got on orbitz. Best thing was that Budget car rental upgraded my car at no cost!

bad, bad, bad
Large stains in carpet, room was not serviced while we were there.owners kid was on the only available computer all day. I will not be staying in a Travel Lodge any time soon.

disapointed
We've stayed at this hotel in the past (couple years back) and had a great experience. It appears it recently changed management and now the place sucks! Its dirty, breakfast is a major downgrade (one reason we used to love it) and the staff acted like they didn't care.

Uncomfortable night for the price
We arrived late in the evening and just wanted to get some sleep after packing for our move all day. The room was stuffy and the air conditioner didn't seem to be cool at all. We were not used to bathing with hand towels instead of wash cloths, and the toilet was the size of one for children in primary school. I couldn't believe how small the room was compared with other hotels at similar cost. However, the room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Short walk from hotel
Restaurant Row in Auburn was just around the curve and across the street from the Park and Ride. There is a good Mexican resturant (Las Margaritas) very close and many choices of fast food places from DQ, Arbys, Taco Time, Wendy's, Jack in the Box, etc. just minutes away. Applebee's is fairly close too.

The on-line pictures of this place are not at all what it is... They allow pets (Bark, bark, bark)! For the price that I paid, the room was a cracker box! The tissue box holder in the bathroom and the smoke detector in the ceiling were literally falling out of the walls. Big nasty spot on the carpet at the foot of the bed...GROSS! Not impressed!Just wanted what I paid for!

Travelodge Inn review
The hotel inside noise was very minimal but the trains that pass a few hundred feet from the building were disturbing at times. Alsok, the breakfast menu could have been a little more varied... waffles every day for four days did get "old" after awhile.... would have preferred yogourt and other healthier choices. The room wasn't always cleaned as crumbs left on the desk were still there when we returned in the evening.
